Start your day with a rich and full-bodied coffee at District Bagel. We are proud to serve fresh and delicious coffee- come for an espresso, a caf au lait, a traditional cappuccino (or iced) and even Mochaccino! Drink it in our caf or to go! I cannot say enough good things about Mount Royal Bagel. What stands out the most is their unique bagels, which have an extra special sweetness to them.
I also love that they have 20 some odd variations, it never gets boring. I often go there for lunch, as they have delicious sandwiches (favorite is the bagel lox with homemade cream cheese) and also can't get enough of their vegan soups. They seem to have a different one each day! The only problem I would say is that I often have trouble deciding what to order with so many choices.

The bagels, pastries, and sandwiches are of very good quality. The coffee could forever be much better for an even better breakfast experience. The regular drip coffee that we got here was bitter. The other issue that we faced during our visit early nothing on Sunday was that they only had three kings of bagels. Otherwise the place will get fiber stars on the quality of the items that they had.

Sandwiches are good but I had to explain them how to make a latte.
The espresso shots ALWAYS goes at the bottom and the milk on top. Proper temperature to froth milk is 140-160F. Anything beyond 160 makes the milk go bad.
My latte temperature was 175-180F. I almost burned myself, imagine if by accident I would have dropped it on me.
They also had price difference, the menu was showing 5.00$ for a 16oz late but at the cash they charged 5.50$ Covid season or not, burning hot late and wrong price is not acceptable! I was the only customer inside, they had all the time to do it right. Maybe

District bagel is good and on Uber eats so it hits the spot for a great early morning office breakfast. Bagel with cream cheese and salmon is always good. They have lots of options to create your own bagel sandwich and I haven't been disappointed yet.
It's tasty and quick. A good choice for a bagel and easy to get to!

The more famous bagel shops in Mile End raise a paradox: the famous bagel shops are where the Jews used to be, but they've moved to the west suburbs; where does the Jewish community get their bagels now? (Also, the famous two aren't kosher; does the Montreal kosher community have the same style of bagel?)
I visited District Bagel in search of answers to these questions. It was pretty busy on a Sunday morning, and the bagel was indeed heavily reminiscent of Saint-Viateur---maybe you can't get theme quite as fresh out of the oven, but there's just as much smoky flavor and the

I love that crispy exterior that is characteristic of a real wood-oven cooked bagel, so I've eaten a number of them. I've been here a few times now and never had trouble with service, even mid-lunch. Luckily though I seem to catch them at a quiet moment most of the time and am the only one to be served. I picked up 6 bagels today and tried their spicy tuna salad as well; it reminds me of the interior of a spicy tuna sushi roll. I went home, slapped some cream cheese on an everything bagel and added some of the tuna salad on top - great combo. However, even a plain bagel is good if that
