This barbecue has so much potential, but just misses the mark by a tiny and correctable mistake - no bbq sauce.
We ordered their tasting plate that comes with three or four different meats. The meats were great but a little bit and dry and flavorless because of the lack of barbecue sauce. They sell barbecue sauce in the restaurant, but you need to buy a half liter of it - it doesn't appear that they sell a meal sized portion and when you order they don't advise you to buy sauce.
I could totally understand if they were cutting corners on the amount of meat that they give you but cutting corners

Just pick up the food and ate it with my wife. Macaroni and cheese was terrible, it tasted like water, beef brisket tasted like absolutely nothing, pulled pork had no taste whatsoever, my wife couldn't even take another bite. Its too bad 30 bucks down the drain, will never eat there again and cannot possibly refer anyone here. Eat McDonald's instead

Throughout covid, they are one of few who kept up with the quality of food. A lot of other restaurants cut corners, and it was obvious. But au cochon fou had great food, the staff are super nice. I definitely recommend this place.

These guys are great and they have the most tender beef brisket I've ever had in my life (and I've tried a LOT). My wife and these guys gave me the best surprise!! Got a huuuuggggggeee piece of beef brisket delivered to our doorstep on my birthday (after we agreed we wouldn't do anything this year cause we have an 11 month old). They didn't stop there and she ordered another a couple of days after, to make sure my buddies had a taste of it too. Thanks so much! These guys are absolutely amazing! They would go above and beyond for their customers. They have the best beef brisket, melts in your mouth, juicy big portions of meat and tasty cornbread that are not dry/dense. Their customer service is awesome too! Definitely a must try!

Pretty disappointing in every aspect. Kudos to the delivery guy for the effort in getting my food to me. Ordered coleslaw salad..I got cabbage and carrots no dressing whether oil or cream based, dry CABBAGE. Mac and Cheese , do not bother yourself with that one and as for the baked beans if those can be classified as beans..never mind. As for my sandwich, l asked for no cheese which in no way implied you should leave out the other condiments that come with the sandwich..big bun with some sliced dried meat ! Pretty disappointing for a dinner and sucks that the guy l spoke to seemed to either be

I was really impressed with the quality and taste as well as variety of food from this restaurant, I discovered it thanks to some friends, as this is their to go option, no way to go wrong with their menu, good amount of food for lunch and dinner for one person. Overall, I truly recommend this restaurant and I will for sure buy more dishes from their menu in the near future.

This is by far the worst and most flavourless bbq joint I have ever had most likely the worst in montreal. We ordered the cochon fou platter si we got to try the pulled pork, the brisket and the ribs as well as a cochon fou poutine with pulled pork and brisket. It almost seemed like the meats were all boiled that's how flavourless everything was. No seasoning no sauce and the bbq sauce we got on the side tasted like bad hp bbq sauce or something. No way any of this stuff was smoked and it felt like eating bbq that someone made for the 1st time ever and without a smoker or grill...absolutely

August 19, 2020 was my 70th birthday and my sweet wife decided to treat me and our guests with a feast from The Crazy Pig: We ordered six platters consisting of ribs, brisket, pulled pork, chicken, beans,… roasted potatoes, mac n’ cheese with extra coleslaw on the side, not to mention the delectable corn bread. WOAW!!! You really get more then you can eat for a really good price !!
This place deserves a 10 star review!
Everything was super good from ribs,pull porc,porc slice,beans,Mac and cheese( I should of take more Mac n cheese)and corn bread too!
I will definitely return and you should go too !
You will be surprise how good and affordable it is! The rib was so tender and tasty the bone fell of just by picking the ribs!

Inconsistent.... Beef and pork both delicious. Sometimes very fatty though. Baked beans, when they are spicy resemble pea soup and are the best thing I've ever had! Though a few times I'e ordered and they were sweet and almost felt like they were from a can, which is quite frustrating. Overall very good but due to the inconsistencies, they are sometimes hit and miss.

In addition to the few regular dishes, they have specials and the sweet and very spicy chicken wings today were excellent. Paired with the sweet baked beans with pork, and the creamy mac-n-cheese, it was went together well.
Anyone on the bike trail around LaSalle should take the Place LaSalle exit for a quick stop here!
