Services
Born in Brooklyn, Queens County, Frank was a son of the late Robie and Barbara (Zwicker) Joudrey. Frank was a jack of all trades and a master of many. There wasn't much he couldn't do or fix once he put his mind to it. He was employed for many years with the Department of Highways working on the surveying crews.
The traditional service is a meaningful expression for the family providing relatives and friends an opportunity to express their love, condolences, or tributes. Generally, a member of the clergy, celebrant, or other person chosen by the family, conducts a service of commemoration. We encourage the active participation of the family in helping plan this part of the service.
At Chandlers', we believe cremation families should be able to choose services that they find most meaningful. We know that people have different beliefs and traditions. Cremation offers many options in which to choose a customized service. Families take comfort knowing that we now have our own crematorium.
Non-traditional Burial, Entombment, or Cremation without visitation. For this type of funeral service, you select the services and merchandise from several itemized options. A Memorial Service is the same as a traditional service, except the body is not present for the funeral. The private family viewing explained above also applies here.
Following the funeral ceremony, family and friends don't have to drive across town to attend the reception, only walk across the hall! We take care of everything, including ordering the food, providing the linens, china, cutlery, setting up the room. It is a convenient way for everyone to gather in one place without the stress of planning or the work of cleaning up.
