Thank you for visiting my site - I hope you find it helpful. As I tell the children I work with, I truly believe I have the best job in the world: I am so privileged to spend my days meeting and working with fascinating young people, and their families. If their lives become easier, happier, and more successful as a result of our work together, I have done my job.
I am an Ottawa native, and obtained my Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Ottawa. I established my private practice in 2003, and joined Nepean Psychological Services in Bells Corners in 2011, after eight years at the Broadview Medical Centre. In 2015 we moved to Barrhaven, under the new name of Village Professional Services.

A typical psycho-educational assessment will require two 3-hour testing sessions with the child. Further sessions may be required, depending on the complexity of the assessment referral, and the child's needs. As part of the assessment process, parents will be asked to complete a background information form, in order to provide a comprehensive developmental history.

We are currently offering a reading intervention program aimed at children diagnosed with Dyslexia and reading-based learning disabilities. The service is provided by trained special education teachers with many years of experience working in schools in the Ottawa Region. The tutoring is individualized to the child's particular needs, and uses empirically supported resources.
