Great selection of higher-end, harder-to-find tile. They had a specialty tile I was looking for and couldn't find at other stores and even better, they had it in stock. James Gu was very efficient and easy to deal with. Pick up of the tile was also very efficient. The tile I bought was large pieces and awkard to transport, however the Fontile warehouse crew took care of loading it into my vehicle and making sure it was secure to prevent any damage during transport. Would recommend both Fontile and James.

Really rude, tried to ask for assistance and were completely ignored. We asked the gentleman at the desk if he could recommend a style of tile and he basically kept working on his computer and didn’t even look up and said no. We then asked if he could provide a recommendation on tile, and he kept looking at his computer and said no - he was doing his best to let us know we weren’t welcome. As soon as other customers came in speaking his language he jumped up and ran to help them. Pretty disappointing, we left feeling bewildered since we’d been recommended to go there and we’d spent an hour

We received great service from Gary. He knew his stuff and was keen to understand what design we were looking for. He gave us great advice on finding the right product without giving us sales pressure. Because we were in a rush we couldn't afford the lead time (8 weeks from Italy) Gary recommended us another place to get what we needed.

I was very impressed with my trip here, especially due to Laurence who was very helpful and friendly. The guy downstairs seemed a lot less friendly so we didn't spend much time with him, but Laurence was very patient with us and turned the experience into 5-stars - thank you! Tons of selection and good prices here too.

Love their selection! I have been to over a dozen of other tile stores all over the lower mainland but Fontile always wins! Also my sales rep Athena is very detailed and replies promptly to email! I used them for my kitchen 3 years ago and now for my two bathroom Reno’s!

Fontile is easily the best tile retailer/showroom in Vancouver with a huge selection of 3D, unique and stylish tiles. I’ll start off by saying that they only sell high quality tiles so don’t expect Home Depot prices... The Staff are always friendly and very helpful and will suggest different styles to help make your vision a reality; they are also very knowledgeable and know their product very well.

One of the worst experiences I think it is possible to have with a company. Missed deadlines, faulty products, rude useless staff, even accused of having another customers product delivered to my house even when it was not. Faulty products that have now failed causing a nightmare. Horrible horrible experience

I like their service. I returned some extra tiles in a box but they didn't charge me restocking fee.

The store is very expensive: as soon as I saw Roberto Cavalli sign I knew this store wasn't for me: they sell regular ceramic subway tile (usually priced at 3-4$/sqft) for $10/sqft. There were only two staff members busy with other customers, and we felt like nobody was there to help us. At the bottom of the stairs we found a sale room (more like a warehouse) with no prices on on the shelves and no one there to help us either. I found the same subway ceramic white tile for $1.19/sqft, but there was nobody to even ask a question or find out how we can buy them. Very disappointing.

We were on a mission. Must find awesome cheap tile to use as kitchen counters and back splash. We entered the premises and were wowed by the selection. We immediately migrated towards the most expensive tile displays like moths to a flame. As we wandered around the store we realized all the display tile was beautiful, but pretty expensive. A little disheartened we went to leave and then saw the sale rack. From here we found everything we needed for no more than $2 a square foot. I love the tile we bought here and it looks great in place.

The salesman that helped us didn't try to

** Let's pause and just note, Jenni O is a fan of a tile story **

I agree with much a Kraeg's review - who knew tiles could be so cool. I'm scoping out some backsplash tile. I was in the area, and although the place looks like a hovel from the outside decided to take a look. This tile experience definately taught me to not be so superficial - it's on the inside that counts right!

It was confusing walking in, then having to climb stairs, it felt a bit like a maze - where am I? Well, similar to Alice falling into Wonderland, I seemingly climbed into tile mecca.

First impress
