Dr. Kennedy is proud to have assembled a team that she is confident can take care of all of her patients' needs from the moment they walk in the door to when they leave. You can count on us to help optimize your visual experiences so that you can take full advantage of what this beautiful world has to offer! Our clinic's slogan is "Because the world is worth seeing" - we want everyone to achieve the best vision possible so they can get the most out of life.
Services
Dr. Courtney Kennedy works full time at the Kennedy Eye Clinic. She was born and raised in Saskatoon and attended the University of Calgary where she completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree (with honours) in Biomedical Sciences in 2009. She then finished her Optometry degree (with honours) at the University of Waterloo in 2014 and decided to return home to Saskatoon to practice Optometry!
Dr. Courtney Kennedy decided to come back home to Saskatoon to open the first Kennedy Eye Clinic location in 2015. In 2018, Dr. Kennedy opened a second non-dispensing practice in Saskatoon and in 2020, she decided to amalgamate her practices into one full-scope private practice.

She changed from a non-dispensing to a private practice clinic because she felt she needed to expand her clinic to incorporate an advanced dry eye clinic, a specialty contact lens clinic, and a frame gallery in order to ensure a positive patient experience from beginning to end.
We operate with a 24-hour notice for all cancellations. No show and cancelled appointments (without enough notice) can pay a refundable $75.00 fee per person to book in again. This fee can be applied to their visit and/or refunded; however, if the patient fails to show up to their appointment again without 24 hours notice, the fee will not be refunded.
An adult comprehensive eye exam includes spectacle prescription optimization, an evaluation of how your eyes work together, and it also includes an extensive look at the health of your eyes. An eye exam can also uncover underlying, and potentially life-threatening, health issues such as diabetes, high blood pressure, MS, certain vascular diseases and brain or eye tumors.
Visual abilities play a big role in early development. Doctors of Optometry recommend infants have their first eye exam between six and nine months of age. Children should have at least one eye exam between the ages of two and five, and yearly after starting school. A Doctor of Optometry can complete an eye exam even if your child doesn't know their ABCs.
