Kon Kast Products (2005) Ltd. is a manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer of precast concrete products. We were incorporated in November of 1969 by Ian and William Smeltzer and the brothers maintained their partnership until Ian passed away in 2017, with Ian's children taking over his share at that time.
They saw their company grow from a small producer of precast sidewalks, septic tanks and well rings, serving the Kelowna area, to what it is today; a large, sophisticated and innovative manufacturer of various precast components and systems, sold throughout B.C. and Western Canada. We handle our sales requirements from our head office in Kelowna, BC, as well as maintaining dealers in Prince George and Castlegar.

Kon Kast manufactures and supplies AFC Oil Water Separators and AFC Twin Cartridge Coalescing Packages, for sale throughout Canada. We are proud of the fact that AFC Oil Water Separators, manufactured by us, have been installed in every Province and Territory in Canada, reaching over 1,000 installations in 2018.
Kon Kast stocks a full line of cast iron components to complete the installation of various structures. The frames, grates and covers are supplied in multiple designs and the covers are stamped accordingly to suit the particular application. All the castings we supply are of high quality and are finished with a bituminous coating for long lasting durability.
The catch basins we provide are manufactured in round and rectangular configurations. The round catch basins are manufactured in 600mm, 750mm, and 900mm inside diameters. These catch basins are designed to accept a concrete lid that may have one of the various style openings we provide in order to suit the casting that is required.
Kon Kast distributes CDS Oil Grit Separators in the Okanagan, Kootenays and the rest of B.C. from Hope north. In doing so, we represent this stormwater treatment system for Contech Engineering Solutions. This technology is based on the unique solids/liquids separation known as Continuous Deflective Separation (CDS).
