When i first arrived i faced relentless bullying for my name and speech impediment. I was offered chopsticks multiple times, i'm not even asian. they then started calling me a chong chang. i read a manga once and they said i was reading my own sacred texts, again i am not asian. i was depressed until my parents moved me and now i have friends.

This was my first american school that I went to, since moving. The transition was frustrating, yet my teachers persisted with me. I used to not be able to imagine being able to do geometry, algebra and being able to understand basic math equations. Despite my pessimistic attitude, all of my teachers were patient.

This is a fully independent, private school with a similar admissions process. To the disgruntled reviewer - just like other private schools, even if you have all the requirements (educational assessment, teacher evaluations and recommendations), the student has to be a good fit and there needs to be a spot available in the grade the student will entering. Also, the fees are similar

If you have a child with a learning disability, they will get you all excited about the school with attending their open house where you're told how much they could help your child. Then you pay their expensive $100 application fee and later told that they can't accept your child. Their application process is such a scam and a total waste of time! I would not recommend! Think about it, for every $100 application fee, how much are they pocketing just to reject students without providing even a partial refund? We pay bills out here! So taking advantage of parents who are on a desperate search to

I loved aim because of the students and some of the teachers. Another plus is the biking program. But it smells in the morning also the walls are soo bad that u can hear people threw them by just talking. Also the out door basket ball court always get mud on it after it rains. The food staff is A+ but it sucks that you can't chose what because u pay 34,912 up to 38,975 for a year.

Overall AIM has done wonders for my son. He loves learning in the environment that AIM has created. For that I will be eternally grateful and recommending AIM to any child. From a parent engagement perspective I have some reservations. For several years I have asked permission to observe my son in his classes as well as observe some teachers in the upper grades. This would help me understand my son's current and future experiences and truly enable me to be a part of the team. Each year I am turned down. Some staff have supported my requests, but the leaders of the school refuse. This makes me wonder
