Fertility Acupuncture Toronto - Most patients are naturally anxious and uncertain when they first decide to try acupuncture. We would like to help allay some of these fears. Some patients ask about whether acupuncture is safe. Today's disposable (single use) stainless steel needles are very safe and effective in the hands of a properly trained practitioner.
Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and acupuncture are effective in the treatment of all types of male fertility disorders, including partial male tube blockages, sperms problems including low or no sperm counts, poor sperm motility (the ability to move), and abnormally shaped sperm. About 35-40% of fertility problems can be traced to male sided factors.
Whether you are a current patient of Toronto Total Wellness Centre or not, we would be happy to assist you with an acupuncture treatment on the day of your IVF transfer. Recent studies suggest that having acupuncture treatments, administered by a qualified and experienced practitioner of Chinese Medicine, as an adjunct therapy to your IVF or other assisted reproductive technology (ART) treatments can improve the success rates by 65%.
Chinese medicine, or TCM, often referes to acupuncture, herbal formulas and their theoretical basis. Chinese Medicine also includes Tuina/Shiatsu massage therapy, diet counselling and modification, and lifestyle counselling. Traditionally, the theory of Chinese Medicine was a theory of nature, health and disease.
The practitioners at Total Wellness Centre often prescribe Chinese herbal medicine to our patients. The herbs are often prescribed in their raw form and must be cooked. In addition, concentrated powdered herbs are available. Some of the herbs have a slightly bitter flavour, but as the amount ingested is quite small, most patients tolerate them quite well.

I would highly recommend Total Wellness Centre for acupuncture treatments. I have been suffering from cluster headaches and nothing has been working for me.All the medications the Dr gives me just makes the headaches worse when they wear off and make me very sick.after one visit with Bill I finally had a good nights rest with only one attack I can’t thank him enough for the relief.I am now a firm believer in TCM.The staff were very professional and friendly And the office was clean and comfortable.I will definitely visit again for any acupuncture needs!

This place is the best! They will help you and get you healed again.
I came here with Trigeminal neuralgia pain.
