Services
Koch Metal Works (Koch Stainless Products) started operations in 1970 with a small shop located near the corner of Logan and Quelch in Northwest Winnipeg. The company specialized in stainless steel and manufactured a wide variety of restaurant equipment. Increasing production made moving to a larger plant necessary in 1978 when a new shop was constructed at the present location on Jarvis Ave.
Our 4000 watt Amada LCV 3015 laser cutters have a cutting envelope of 60" x 120" and can cut up to 3/4" mild steel. We can also process aluminum and stainless steel using a nitrogen shielding gas for better edge quality. With a dual pallet changer, lost time incurred during sheet set-up is eliminated.
We are proud to announce that we have added CNC machining capabilities to our impressive line-up of equipment. We recently purchased a brand new Doosan 3 axis CNC mill and a brand new Doosan CNC lathe with Y axis and live tooling and LNS Bar Feeder. The Doosan DNM 650 vertical machining center has a working envelope of 50" x 26.3" x 24.6".
