Acupuncture is a safe, effective and drug-free therapeutic method that can help address a wide variety of health problems. This holistic therapy helps to reduce or relieve pain, strengthen the immune system, prevent diseases, support physical and emotional health, and improve function of affected areas of the body by inserting, manipulating and retaining very fine sterile filiform needles into specific acu-points on the body.
Calgary B C Acupuncture has developed a reputation of knowledge, friendliness and passion and treats patients one-on-one with the utmost respect and understanding; only pre-sterilized disposable (single use) needles are used. I had lower back pain and spasms problems. I tried physiotherapy first, but it didn't help. So, I came to Dr. Chan. His acupuncture techniques are so good. I felt my pain relived at the very first treatment. I have seen Dr. Chan for couple years from then on. I highly recommend him to you if you have the lower back pain like I do.

Dr. Chan was amazing! After a work incident, I was left with a very swollen spot the size of an egg on the top of my head. I went to seek help from Dr. Chan after failed attempts to get help from the hospital. He was amazing and helped me completely heal my head in a matter of months! The swelling has completely recovered due to his great advice, recommended herbs, and accupunture! I cannot thank him enough!

I went in to see Dr. Chan for chronic cold hands and feet for years and also kidney problems and constipation. After only 3 sessions my hands and feet are much better and no more constipation and kidneys working alot smoother. The herbs he provided helped to treat my conditions much quicker than if I just did just the acupuncture. I cannot recommend Dr Chan enough! I would give him more than 5 stars if I could.

I have just completed a course of 10 acupuncture treatments with Dr. Chan for two health issues, and have gained relief and improvements in both conditions. What I like the most is that Dr. Chan is very prompt so I rarely had to wait. Dr. Chan also takes time to answer questions and is very responsive to any concerns I may have had. My experience under his care was very positive.

I was diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome a few months after having my newborn. I've tried wearing wrist braces at night while sleeping and going to physio, but the constant bending of the wrists from holding, feeding, and rocking a baby made it hard to improve my condition. I initially went to Dr. Chan for pain in my shoulders at the recommendation of a friend and after 3 treatments of acupuncture and cupping I no longer get this usual pain. At the same time I mentioned I was experiencing leg and foot cramps every evening and which often woke me during the night. No calcium, magnesium, potassium through food and supplements nor plenty of water made any difference so Dr. Chan began acupuncture treatments to address this problem and after 5 treatments I am completely free from cramps.
