Today, people throughout the West are discovering the benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Acupuncture and Chinese herbal formulas are the main components of Chinese Medicine, an ancient practice that focuses on healing the whole body instead of just concentrating on its symptoms. By bringing the body's qi into balance, the person's physical, mental, and spiritual well-being can be restored and enhanced thus boosting the immune system.

Book today for a consultation whether you are currently suffering from health concerns or simply want to optimize your health and the prevention of disease. Booking online is now easier. During my practicum in Taiwan, the TCM doctors there almost always prescribe Chinese Herbal Formulas alongside Acupuncture and Western Medicine to further assist in treating complicated cases of Internal Medicine.
Services
Cupping is a therapy designed to stimulate the flow of blood and Qi within the superficial muscle layers. In Chinese Medicine, we say that this is a great from of detox. Some conditions cupping treats are sore muscles, tension, neck and back pain and the common cold. Small glass cups are placed over specific areas on the body creating a vacuum under the cup by way of heat or suction.
Moxibustion is a modality of Traditional Chinese Medicine that uses the leaves from the Chinese herb, Ai Ye, the mugwort plant. Its warm nature helps aid qi circulation when treated on specific acupuncture points.

Indications for moxibustion include pain relief for ailments such as menstrual cramps or low back pain due to menstrual cramps, muscle pain or tension, frozen shoulder, turning a breech baby, and immune boosting especially if you catch frequent colds. It may be burned on the handle of the needle, directly or above the skin or used in the form of a moxa pad.
Tui Na (pronounced "twee nah") translates as "push grasp" and is a massage technique that moves Qi in various parts of the body. This is similar to acupressure where pressure is applied to various acupuncture points on the body. It can be used to relieve muscle pain, tension, inflammation, provide relaxation as well as heal injuries.
Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine together complete Traditional Chinese Medicine. Many of these herbs are common spices and super foods, some of which you may recognize such as ginger, ginseng, astragalus root, goji berries, milk thistle, dandelion root, cardamom and turmeric. By combining these individual herbs or super foods, a unique and synergistic Chinese Herbal Formula is created tailoring your individual needs.
48 hours notice is appreciated for rescheduling or cancelling your appointment. This gives me time to fill your appointment slot as well allows others time to schedule an appointment. A cancellation fee equivalent to that of one Acupuncture session is subject to be applied if 48 hours notice is not given.

I have had treatment from Debbie Lee on separate occasions for anxiety and allergies and she helped me to find relief from both. I have tried several approaches to treat anxiety, but for me, acupuncture has been the most effective method of managing my mood. Debbie used the NAET technique for my allergy to the office dog. I now able to be around him without any symptoms at all.

Debbie is amazing at her art. She corrected and adjusted my whole body by working only on my hand. Truly amazing. I live in a wellness center and receive lots of body work, Debbie is among the best I've had the pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.

For me Debbie took acupuncture to a whole new level. I have never felt that relaxed after a session and she got rid of my neck and shoulder pain. She was the first one to help me reduce my migraines. I've drastically reduced my use of headache drugs which I see the benefits on so many levels. She also helped me change my diet to help alongside the treatments. She is so knowledgeable and a true professional.

I was amazed with the treatments I received from Debbie for one of the worst colds I've ever had. After the first treatment, I was 80% better and was actually able to breathe. After the second, I was cured. This was the shortest cold I've ever had and I found that after receiving these treatments, my immune system strengthened on its own. And I have to admit that I have a phobia to needles (I always sweat before having accupuncture treatments or blood tests) but I can hardly feel it when she puts the needles in. Very impressive. She's very knowledgeable, professional and personable
