Having 20/20 vision isn't the whole story. Although you may feel your eyes "see well" it is still very important to get the health of your eyes checked every year or every two years, as there are many diseases that don't show any symptoms. Having your eyes examined regularly our Doctors of Optometry can provide valuable insight about your overall health.

Every year we support numerous causes that are important to our patients and to ourselves. We believe in giving back to the people who support us. Whether it is our annual Day of Caring with the United Way where we provide complimentary glasses and eye examinations to members of the community that cannot afford eye care, donating a pair of sunglasses to a local hockey tournament, or supporting the RIH Foundation, we like all causes, big or small.

I was looking for a pair of sunglasses and wanted a specific look. After looking around, I ended up at Ebata Eye Care and found a pair of Ray-Bans and actually purchased a second pair of (Oakley) sunglasses that I was surprised to find. They have a wide selection of sunglasses and glasses frames to choose from too. If you’re looking for your next pair, this is the place to go - the best part is that you can bring in your prescription and they will help you find the right pair of lenses - great quality, awesome service, friendliest staff!

Hello all. During this COVID19 pandemic I was wearing my glasses and my son accidentally broke them. Unfortunately, they were not repairable...I did have contacts though thankfully, I did prefer my glasses. Jacqui at Ebata was great!! Jacqui got me set up immediately.... was texting photos of new frames, and met with me right away! Got them quickly too!! This was the first time I'd ever dealt with Ebata, and during this difficult time I very much appreciated the extra mile Jacqui went helping me get me new glasses. Thank you Jacqui and Ebata Eyecare!! I would recommend you to anyone.

I have been a client of Ebata Eyecare, starting with Gene Ebata since I was a teenager (I am in my 50's now). I, unfortunately, recently missed one appointment, not bad for all these years. I was informed, quite unprofessionally I might add, that my next appointment would not be honoured unless I paid $45 for the missed appointment. I am so glad they appreciated my years of loyalty to them as I look forward to working with another optometrist. I am sure my new optometrist will appreciate my business more than Ebata Eyecare.

Ebata Eye Care genuinely cares about it's customers and delivering the best services possible. When it came time to choose my frames, the staff were very helpful and made suggestions for frames that would suit me. They knew what would work better for me than I did! Not a Kamloops local, but needed new glasses and wasn’t sure where to go! Heard a couple good reviews about Ebata Eyecare and I’m so glad I decided to make an appointment! All the staff is extremely nice and helpful, and did a wonderful job answering all the questions I had. Missed her name, but especially pleased with the lady that helped me pick my glasses! Super personable and helpful. Was also quoted a week till my glasses would be ready, but they were ready the very next day. Thanks again!
