Nick King opened his first business in 2012 in a 2 bay shop that was located on an operating Dairy farm in rural Hamilton. He opened Trinity Automotive in 2015 and in 2017 moved all of the operations under one roof in Stoney Creek. Prior to opening his own business, Nick had the privilege of working for a family-owned and operated auto repair shop for 12 years.

At Trinity Automotive, we think it is important for you to know how the cooling system works and why we need to keep it maintained to save you money and frustration. The cooling system consists of a radiator, a water pump, a thermostat and hoses. A mixture of water and coolant/anti-freeze flows through the engine, water pump, thermostat and radiator.
If you are having troubles with your tires, our experienced and licensed auto mechanics at Trinity Automotive will perform a tire inspection in order to assess the accurate tire pressure, tread wear, tire tread depth, and the balance of your tires. Last but not least, they will look for any signs of tire punctures that could result in a flat tire.
If you are having transmission problems, don't despair, it may not be a major issue. We have seen numerous times when a customer comes to us in a panic, expecting the worst because of a shifting problem. Then, after inspecting the vehicle, we find the problem was NOT a major problem. Transmission Repairs and Rebuilding CAN be very expensive, sometimes several $1,000's.

Wanted to take my vehicle for an oil change. Was worried that I wouldn't have a car to get to work. The guy's at Trinity Automotive hooked me up with a courtesy vehicle to get to work and get around until my car was ready. Great service I can't complain. Then again I speak from my experience, not everyone may share the same experience. Anyway if anyone needs to take their vehicle for service give them a try. Thumbs up to the guys at Trinity for the service they've given my car through out the years ...

LISTEN. I had my car towed on a Saturday to my previous mechanic bc it WOULDN’T START. They had no problems starting it (🤯), but didn’t bother to call me back or email me to let me know they weren’t doing anything to my car. Finally got ahold of them on the Tuesday, picked up my car after work, IMMEDIATELY noticed issues again. Turn the key, stutters, reluctant to start. It stuttered like this all week, finally stranding me again the following Saturday and obviously this time I paid extra to have CAA bring it to Trinity. I found Trinity through Google, looked at all the awesome reviews and made my decision to bring my car over to get the A/C serviced. It was very last minute that I booked my appointment and Nick got me in on the date I picked.. I'm very cautious about who I bring my car to, to have it worked on. After talking with Nick and him explaining everything that was gonna get done, i felt that i was in good hands. Communication with the shop via TEXT was easy and convenient. I would definitely recommend this shop for anyone who is looking for a great and honest place..

As a single woman, dealing with mechanics can be a bit intimidating. You hear stories of women being taken advantage of because of our supposed lack of knowledge about the world of car maintenance. Nothing could have been further from my experience with Trinity. Nick and his team are respectful, professional and did great work. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend that all my friends move their business to Trinity.

Trinity Automotive was communicative, thorough and professional. They understood that my recurring electrical issues needed to be investigated thoroughly but were also efficient with the diagnosis to avoid hours of labour time. They managed to isolate my issue and solve a problem that no other mechanic could get right. I appreciate their communications via text and email so you can read through all info and I felt like they took the time to explain to me the problems and other possible issues in the future. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Trinity Automotive came highly recommended to me! I was not disappointed. The team was very helpful and made sure I was well informed. The place looked very organized and professional as well.
Their email and text communication is also great - I got emailed a report listing work that was done, and a few service recommendations (including photos) based on my car's needs with specific info for me to look over instead of having suggestions only verbally rattled off over the phone. I could look up what I needed to before discussing with them what work I wanted done.
