Frontenac Property Management

The company seems to have a lot of properties and many seem nice. That is about it for my positive experience. Emails are not returned and when they are they advise the property is already gone. Friends listed their property and kept losing potential clients/renters because the individuals could not wait to hear whether they got the place... very competitive market and response time has to be timely. Other neighbours rent from FP and have very poor response to issues about the home. Still others have fairly major issues and they are shunned. The staff on the phone seem pleasant enough but sound

Very nice property's, which is the only reason they recieve a rating of 2!.
However poor communication and very difficult to speak to anyone or the same person ever. Seems to be a very posh company, which is fine i guess it was my mistake because the middle class just becomes ignored. If your credit score is not above 690 DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!
Update responce : Just like many other responses, its to late, you lost the business for your clients. Hey dont worry the market is "saturated" as you say. This time they could have made there next investment in one week, as we were two full time employed

Meh. They seem to have few properties and lots of clients. They don't return emails for over 24 hours sometimes and with the housing market as it is no one can wait that long. Wish I wouldn't have bothered with them. Was time consuming and did not help in my search at all.

Contracted Frontenac Property Management for many years to help with management of my two properties. Staff and owners were always helpful and courteous and properties were well maintained. Very no nonsense and responsive approach to dealings with tenants which I really appreciated. Thank you for all your years of service and hard work.

Update: the owners fired this company recently as they didn't like the repair cost estimate to fix the concrete that they neglected to fix 4 years ago when first complained to. So the issue is not the management company but the actual owners.

We rented two properties through Frontenac over two years and have nothing but good things to say about them. When we were forced out of our first place due to owner unexpectedly moving back in, they went out of their way to help find another home for us. Diana was super helpful and even gave us a walk-through video tour of a place when we were unable to see it in person. Maintenance, whether in-house or outside contractors has been first class in both the speed of attention and also the level of service. We are moing to Ottawa and I just hope our property managers there are up to the same level

The rental market seems very hot in Kingston right now especially for family rentals. We applied to two properties with Frontenac after speaking with a leasing agent. After countless follow ups and emails we never once received a phone call back from them which they had told us they would do. We would not have continued following up should they have told us the rental was taken but they lead us to believe our application may be processed. I rented with Frontenac for 1 year and a half and they were amazing. Awesome attention 24/7. All maintenance was on point. Their properties are well kept and they are always adding new locations on areas close to downtown, SLC and Queens.
After I rented with them I had an issue with a gas bill and they took care of everything, even when I wasn't a client anymore.
They are understanding and always look to accommodate you as much as possible.
It's a safe bet to rent a property in Kingston, ON.

I've been very happy with any dealings I've had with Frontenac Property Management. Any time I have required assistance they always get back to me in the same day and have always been extremely helpful in having maintenance work performed very quickly. They are also very proactive in having the furnace cleaned yearly. As a former landlord myself, I would say they are doing an incredible job and I would highly recommend them. If I was still in the rental business I would absolutely use their services to manage my investment properties.
