It might seem as though your dentist is just casually poking around your mouth during a dental exam, but in fact, they're checking out the state of your teeth, the condition of your gums, looking for signs of wear and tear on previous dental work as well as for any signs that indicate other developing health problems.
After completing his Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biology at Acadia University, Dr. Rhodenizer graduated from Dalhousie Dental School in 1990. Following graduation, he entered private practice and quickly realized that he would need more training to enable him to provide the best of care to his patients.
We discourage patients from booking appointments to have their teeth cleaned without also having a thorough dental exam. Good dental health and hygiene rely on comprehensive care. We feel strongly that we have an ethical responsibility to our patients to provide the best, most thorough care possible and that we would not be doing our best on your behalf if you were to only come in for an occasional cleaning.
