At Granville Physio we take a different approach to rehab, one we feel is more comprehensive and thorough. We employ a wellness first approach that focuses on curing your condition rather than just treating the symptoms. The great thing is that the research shows that our approach has proven more effective than what many clinics offer.
These clinics emphasize passive modalities like heat packs, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation with a few cookie cutter exercises. Although these are valuable adjuncts to treatment, when they are the focus of care, they often do not address the root of the problem. This makes these clinics more profitable, but one-on-one time with patients is low.

The physio I saw for a shoulder dislocation was new to me and pronounced nothing torn, just stretched and to do exercises she showed me and to keep it in motion. Actually it turned out the entire rotator cuff was detached at the front. Surgery has been prescribed by 2 doctors, and I'm awaiting my appointment with the surgeon. I should not have been told to move it around. Following the visit my arm dislocated from the shoulder 4 more times that week. I think the physio needs more assessment experience.

Granville Physio is amazing! I injured my ankle really bad that I couldn't walk for 2 weeks and had to be off of work.
Many thanks to James! His techniques of healing my injury was amazing! After a week of doing the stretches I was asked to do, I was back into walking better again!
In total of four visits I was back into doing my daily routine like nothing wrong ever happened with my foot.
I am forever great full for all your help James!
Sincerely,
Alison

They are "special" physio. I highly recommend to everyone who needs to be "fixed". They don't just use a machine on you and leave you there for 20 minutes with the machine. They make plans for you to help you get better . They massage your muscles. It's magic ! I can hear the sound from my bone and all your muscles loose without twisting your body . No pain at all. very very good. I refer my friend to the physio too. He loves it too.

It took me five years, many practioners, and a lot of faith to find Damien. I honestly thought I was going to live with chronic neck pain for the rest of my life. If I can give any advice to anyone looking to find the right answers, and a little hope, it would be to get in with Damien as quick as possible! He is an incredibly well educated, full of… curiouity to get to the solve and extremely empathetic. All incredible qualities needed more often in this industry! And the other staff that work here know how to make it feel warm and personal with every visit! So blessed.

Jim is a fantastic physiotherapist, very knowledgeable but also understanding and made sure I had all the information about my injury in terms I could understand. The extra time and care he took throughout the whole process will keep me going back and recommending the clinic to my colleagues, friends and family!

I have gone to see Brendon Ip at Granville Physio about 3 times now and I have had a great experience each time. He really takes the time to listen to my issues and see what he can do to help me out. He also explains the reason behind the pain so I really appreciate the educational portion of the appointment. I have never once felt like he rushed through the session and I always leave feeling a lot better. I have been seeing him specifically for pain in my wrists from typing and I have seen improvement after every visit. Brendon Ip is very knowledgeable and I will definitely continue to see him

I met Jim when I was referred to a clinic and when he moved, I followed.
In 2013 or 2014, I started a learn-to-run program which brought out all my unresolved injuries from a prior fall. Jim told me that it would take a long time to fix and while I had imagined years and years of therapy, Jim fixed all the issues in 10 sessions - calves, unbalanced hips, collapsed arch ( not quite there yet), lower back pain, knee pain, plus more. Mind you, I also had a lot of homework but it was worth it.
Once I had an neck issue and after a couple of days, I went to see Jim. He gently turned my head here

I am so impressed with this physio clinic! My partner and I receive such great care from Damian. He is very genuine and really spends the time needed to ensure that our ailments are looked after. This isn't the the kind of physio clinic that juggles multiple people at once but rather each 30 minute session is purely spent on one person. I would highly recommend Granville Phyio for Shockwave therapy Manual therapy and IMS.
