Dr. Rashid graduated from the University of Alberta in 2009 receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology.
He obtained his Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2013. Through his participation in externships, conferences, and research, Dr. Rashid has demonstrated expertise in all branches of Optometry. While at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Palo Alto, CA and San Jose, CA, he managed patients with a high prevalence of ocular and systemic disease.

Scleral lenses are large diameter rigid gas permeable (RGP) therapeutic devices, ranging from 15mm to 25mm in diameter. Scleral lenses are designed to rest on the less sensitive sclera, thereby avoiding all contact with the cornea. The lens creates a tear reservoir over the cornea, providing excellent comfort and vision.

First time ever had this great experience with an optometrist. Starting with the great staff and then Dr.Rahisd him self was so good. He listened about my issue in detail and gave his expert option. He went above and beyond my expectations and did extensive my eye exam. Feeling happy that I found a great optometrist!!

After my former optometrist retired, I was referred to Envision by a family member and received fantastic service. Dr. Rashid was great at assessing my eyesight and informing me about my options as a patient. I'm also thankful to the rest of the Envision team, as they helped me find an amazing pair of glasses. If you're looking for eye care, I would definitely recommend the Envision team.

Truely wonderful staff at Envision! The optometrist is very knowledgeable, and makes you feel comfortable just like you're family. You can really tell that they take care of their patients when you walk in and see how they treat other patients. :) The front staff are always welcoming and so helpful.

I highly recommend this place!!! I have really bad vision in my eyes and Dr. Rashid was not only very informative with me about my vision but also with the options that were available to me. They were also super helpful in helping me pick the glasses frames I wanted and if they didn't carry the specific frames they were able to find ones that were similar for me. As well, they helped me get more comfortable with contact lenses as I could not put them on before, but they sat with me for about 40 min teaching me how to put them in and take them out. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone

Not sure how this company get 5 points comments , but definitely don't doing any business with this company . Charged me $70 for new patient contact lens fitting which Superstore and Costco are free of charge, also only giving out 3 pairs off free trail contact lens which they got the trail lens for free from their suppliers . Frame less selection then other opticals as well .
