Im writing this review based on a cake i recently bought from Del's. It was purchased at a local grocer. I am from NYS, so having Canadian products available is not uncommon. We have Tim Hortons coffee shops galore. The cake was a double chocolate cake. Purchase price was $4.49. I was not enthralled. The frosting was gritty, and the cake itself had no cocoa taste at all. I likened it to a combination of maple syrup and root beer. Maybe the tastes of chocolate are differant in Canada, i dont know.It was definitely an experience that "left a bad taste in my mouth" to say the least.......

Much better than the old coffee time. Real food.
Windows need more signage to attract more customers.
The breakfast is great and employees are nice guys.
It's all just the beginning stages but we hope to see some renovations in the future to enable the potential of the guys making the food.
Although it's new and not as evolved as other bakeries in the area they are already doing a much better job with the quality of food and how it's put together.

I am not huge on coffee shops, but i love a good pastry and deli. And the members at this location which i had never visited previously ensured my visit was an amazing first experience without me even sayimg it was my first time there. The food? Phenomenal yet so simple, just the way breakfast dishes should be. There general attitude was out of this world. Its a shock to see that such kind and amazing people still occupy the same world as me. I am very glad to have been part of a quality experience that was driven both by passion and skill, service and the art of the kitchen. Plan on visiting whenever
