Kingsway Psychological and Behavioural Services is located in the Etobicoke area and offers an array of mental health services to help family members achieve success and build warm, caring and cooperative relationships with each other. We assist children with social and academic difficulties and provide extensive supports for parents. We are committed to helping children reach their full potential and helping families overcome any challenges they may encounter.
Services
It is difficult for parents to watch their children experience obstacles to their learning and relationships. They may notice that their child or adolescent avoids doing homework, has difficulty paying attention in class, reads below grade level, expresses dislike for school, demonstrates low self-esteem or shows a range of behavioural concerns.
Mindfulness Meditation is an effective strategy for dealing with stress, anxiety, depression or chronic pain. With this approach, we teach parents, professionals and other adults how to deal with stressful conditions through focus on the present moment, acceptance of current conditions, non-judging and non-attachment.
