Dr Saint-Cyr is a fully-bilingual, duly qualified Psychologist, licensed by the College of Psychologists of Ontario (1983). He is specialized in Neuropsychology, Psychotherapy and Medical-Legal practice. Dr. Saint-Cyr trained in Clinical Psychology at McGill's Department of Psychiatry (Allan Memorial Institute), at the University of Rochester, at the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry (now CAMH) and at the Toronto Western Hospital.
Dr Saint-Cyr is a Professor Emeritus in the University of Toronto, Department of Surgery (Division of Neurosurgery), of the Faculty of Medicine. In addition, he is an Affiliated Scientist in the Toronto Western Hospital Research Institute and at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, University Health Network.

Dr Jean Saint-Cyr was born in Montral and attended McGill University, graduating with a BA in Psychology. He obtained an MA in Psychology at the University of Rochester and then a Ph. D. jointly in Psychology (Physiological and Clinical) and in Neurobiology, at the Centre for Brain Research.
He completed post-doctoral studies in Cell Biology (University of Texas at Dallas, Southwestern Medical School) and in Neuroanatomy (Centre de recherches en sciences neurologiques) at the Universit de Montral.Dr Saint-Cyr was a Visiting Scientist at the National Institutes of Health, both in the Laboratory of Neuropsychology and in the Clinical Brain Disorders Branch.
