Our Optometrists are experienced and understand the importance of providing every individual a unique eye care experience.

This is especially true when looking at preventative eye care, which we believe to be the best way to ensure long-lasting eye health. It all starts with a thorough eye exam. The Canadian Association of Optometrists recommends that children under age 20 and seniors of 65 and over get annual eye exams.

Our Technology Report

Digital Retinal Photography enables us to diagnose and monitor eye diseases with extreme accuracy. Using our camera equipment to look into the back of your eye (a process called fundus photography) is an important diagnostic process. Thanks to fundus photography, we are able to detect eye diseases earlier in their development and with greater accuracy.

Adult & Senior Eye Exams Report

Children and seniors should have annual eye exams, as should people with diabetes or another medical condition that has significant potential to impact your eyes. Every year thousands of kids in Ontario go to school without ever having an eye exam. Since up to 80% of learning comes directly from your vision, kids that suffer from developing or undiagnosed eye problems are at a disadvantage. Did you know that OHIP provides coverage for an annual eye exam for all kids under age 20?

Awesome place. Awesome doctor awesome staff. I had some infection in my eye, after gave me the description they still want me to come back every 2 days to make sure I’m healed 100% with no charge. If you have any eyes issue this is the place to go, I would recommend Georgian Bay Optometry clinic to everyone!

I have been a client over 6 yrs and have found the staff at all levels to be friendly, thorough and very helpful. The glasses I have bought have perormed well and follow-up adjustment were no problem. I do have a medical condition with my eyes and GBOC provides reports to my Specialist in Toronto....... I have regularly visited optometry clinics for over 35+ years. The personal care my family & I have been receiving from Georgian Bay Optometry is by FAR the best we/I have ever received. We have been seeing Dr. Dionisio for over 5 years now and she is fantastic! Every member of the GBOC team is friendly, courteous and genuinely care about our family's needs (wether it be in regards to booking, billing, eyewear choices, etc). It was our first visit to Georgian Bay Optometry since we moved to Wasaga from our Barrie clinic, and all the staff from when we were first greeted by Courtney, to our visits with Dr. Boesch, and lastly from trying on and purchasing frame with Janet, was a very stress-free and pleasant experience, given the incredible amount of additional… precautions staff have to follow. All was done very pleasantly and with good humor which made us totally at ease. We will look forward to our next visit and highly recommend Georgian Bay Optometry Clinic! Great job Georgian Bay OC!
