Please contact us by phone or through our contact form to arrange an appointment for an eye exam, glasses order or pick up or adjustment. Unfortunately, the Ontario government has failed to invest in optometric eye care for more than 30 years. As a result, OHIP now only covers a fraction of the overhead and operating expenses required to deliver an eye exam.

For 30 years, the Ontario government has refused to enter into formal and binding negotiations with Ontario optometrists. This includes children 19 years and younger, seniors 65 years and older, and patients with health conditions such as diabetes, glaucoma or cataracts. In addition, we will no longer be accepting requisitions for a Major Eye Exam.

Anne Street Optometry is located in the north end of Barrie, Ontario in the Janice Drive Plaza. We have a beautifully renovated office, and a friendly and knowledgeable staff. We offer eye exams for all ages, including infants. Retinal photography, contact lens fitting and low vision assessments are just some of our services.

Dr. Monica List is an exemplary Dr. She has consistently been there to offer suggestions and assistance in everyway. She has followed up with new ideas to help my husband who visually impaired to assist him in coping with his vision loss. We consider ourselves lucky.

These ladies were awesome after I destroyed my Maui Jim sunglasses
I thought my glasses were beyond repair but I thought I'd ask Ann Street Optometrist if they could fix them.
They had to order some parts but they fixed them up as good as new and didn't even charge me.

Dr. List was fantastic, this was my first time coming here and she gave me a very thorough exam - and was wonderful with my toddler that came with me. The admin assistant that helped me though she said she was new was excellent, friendly and very helpful.
I would have given 5 stars except that one of the staff members there had an issue with the glasses I chose; and was so incredibly rude. So as long as I don’t have to deal with that particular person again I’ll be happy to go back.

Very knowledgeable optometrists - Dr. List found a retinal hole during my routine exam and referred me to have it fixed before it became a problem. Great frame selection with friendly and helpful staff.

Very patient and kind with 5 yr old daughter who did NOT want glasses. She ended up picking the cutest pair and they arrived 2 days later. Excellent service!
