Services
Our entire team is dedicated to ensuring your comfort at every visit. From initial assessment to each follow-up appointment, you are assured a relaxing visit and the utmost in professionalism and courtesy. Orthodontics is a branch of dentistry that requires specialized training. In fact, the Canadian Dental Association requires orthodontists to have a minimum of two years of advanced post-doctoral training.
Bad bite, or malocclusion, is a term used to describe teeth that do not fit together properly. Malocclusions occur for a variety of reasons and include crowded teeth, large gaps between teeth, cleft palate and other irregularities. Orthodontists have specialized training to identify and treat problems caused by a bad bite.
Every member of our team works to ensure your comfort. From the friendly welcome you receive when you walk through our doors, to the thorough communication we provide about your dental health and treatment plans, your experience with Richmond Green Orthodontics is sure to be a positive one. Digital radiographs expose you to less radiation than traditional x-rays and make the process of taking x-rays much faster.
Interceptive treatment helps us reduce or eliminate the jaw abnormalities that can cause crowding or create gaps in your child's teeth. Children are typically screened for orthodontic problems at age seven, the age at which they begin losing their baby teeth. With early intervention, there is a better chance of identifying and treating problems before they become too serious.
Orthodontic treatment is suited to patients of all ages. It's true that braces are often associated with adolescence, but an increasing number of adults are turning to orthodontics to correct problems they've endured throughout their life, or to enhance the appearance of their smiles. It is never too late for orthodontics.

Bad skill. both me and my daughter got jaw lock problems. If we open our mouth wide now, we cannot close easily :(I I feel she is ok with young teenagers but not mature adults. She always wants patients to extract four teeth then 3 years later now, still not done! Very frustrated. We should have seen couples of orthodontics and compared.

Very friendly and knowledgeable people. I was really impressed by their 3D modelling program. If you or anyone you know is looking for an orthodontist, you should give them a call!

I had a very good experience with Richmond Green Orthodontics. I required braces and Dr. Chan was able to get my teeth fixed within 18 months. Dr. Chan made sure I was happy with the results and even set up some follow up sessions once the braces were removed to ensure that everything was ok. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the results and would be happy to recommend Dr. Chan and Richmond Green Orthodontics.

Getting the teeth fixed is never fun, but both my Son and myself had great experience with Dr Chan.
- results are exactly like what were expected
- every concerns were addressed
- work was done by doctor herself not an assistant
- reasonable price and flexible plan
I will definitely recommend Richmond Green Orthodontics / Dr Chan to anyone.

My fiancee wants braces. She went in to Richmond Green Orthodontics for a consultation and Dr. Chan laughed at my fiancees' teeth and asked why she didn't do it earlier in a rude tone. Isn't this what she does? Doesn't she want business? You have to be nice to people and make your customers feel comfortable in any business, and more is expected of you if are a doctor. Very un-professional.
