Although we are located in Etobicoke, our local, family owned and operated funeral home is a 27-minute drive from Mimico. We are aware that there are several reputable funeral homes in Mimico, however, unlike those funeral homes, we provide a more family oriented service that is truly intimate. Since 1921, Ridley Funeral Home has been helping families in Etobicoke and surrounding areas say goodbye to a loved one.
Our local, family owned and operated funeral home, which is a 29-minute drive from Mississauga, has proudly served many families from the area. We know that there are many reputable funeral homes in Missassauga, ON; however, unlike those funeral homes, we provide affordable funeral and memorial services, without compromising on the quality of care and safety of your loved one.
Below are three of our most popular funeral packages that save families time, effort, and money. All funeral director services (access to up to three funeral directors plus support staff). Use of our lounge, chapel and service room(s), coffee and tea service, AV equipment, music selection, flower stands, etc.

Staff were kind and respectful. Communication was very good and all my questions were answered. I never felt pressured to do things a certain way. My wishes were accommodated without reservation.
Tammy was so kind and thoughtful when I was going through the prearrangement process especially as this was all new to me. The post care was also excellent and took a lot of stress away from me.
Just one wrinkle and that was the tribute wall/obituary where I was directed to Facebook in order to access….many people do not have a Facebook account so this was annoying.

The entire team at Ridley was incredibly compassionate and worked with our family every step of the way to make sure that the service was exactly what we were hoping for.

My first experience with Ridley Funeral Home was back in 2016 when I lost my husband. Last month when my mom passed away, I contacted Ridley once again. Both times their level of professionalism, patience and compassion helped to make our family feel more at ease and confident in the process. I have nothing but positive things to say about the staff and venue and greatly appreciate their services during such difficult times.

I would like to thank everyone at Ridley funeral home for making this sad experience easy and being so amazing. They went above and beyond with their service one of the employees brought my mom's best friend home with their own vehicle as she was older and she was there alone and it was very cold that day. The staff thought of every detail of the arrangements. My mom's arrangements were done with dignity and compassion and the process went very smoothly.

I recently Buried both my mother and my father in the last seven months Both of them at two different establishments the one I buried my father in I found the lady that helped me somewhat snippy At times and when it came time to doing all the things I needed to do after, they just handed me envelopes with their certificates and told me where to send things off. Then I buried my mom seven months later at Ridley And not only did they do all that for me they even gave me a text message a couple weeks later just to check in on me that quite wowed me. My brother's sudden passing caused some mayhem but luckily I had chosen well when I randomly chose Ridley's.Devin Chubb made me feel safe & protected and kept me up to date,always referring to my brother as a person,by name never 'body' or ' remains'.
Devin was so sensitive,caring,dignified and competent as was his colleague,Ellen Newman who handled the details of my brother's service.
Both showed great care ,patience and meticulous attention to detail.I am sure I was very trying and they went way way above and beyond duty,wwhich was greatly appreciated

Ridley Funeral Home has been a great help during this difficult time for my family. Every member of the staff has been extremely helpful, compassionate, caring and professional. They have been very understanding and accomodating to our requests. I really appreciate the fact that I never felt pressured into buying products or sevices that I did not need/want. The After Care service is also a huge help - I felt very overwhelmed by all the legal stuff and they took care of everything. I highly recommend the services of this Funeral Home - ☆☆☆☆☆

Our family has been supported by the wonderful staff at Ridley Funeral Home for the last 55 years. We recently lost my Father and once again were there for my family. Given the situation with Covid-19 the staff were able to organize the events flawlessly.
