When I get asked why I started doing wedding, engagement, family & lifestyle photography I always start off by telling them a little bit of my design background. I loved connecting with people and helping them design something that fit their brand and who they were as a individuals. Everyone always said that I had a knack for seeing what people were about, and being able to bring that to light in design was my gift.
We had Jennifer photograph our wedding in June of 2016 and I'm so happy with all the beautiful photos we received! She accommodated the rain so well and we got some great shots of the wedding party with umbrellas! We got many wonderful family shots that I'm going cherish for years to come. I'm going to have a hard time picking just a couple photos to frame!
Kailey and Cole were an absolute joy to photograph on their wedding. When we first met to do their engagement photo shoot it was obvious these two love birds were made for each other. The couple chose to do a first look on the board walk outside the Hotel Eldorado, where the ceremony took place. It's a beautiful location that is a personal favorite of mine.
A wedding at the Hotel Eldorado are some of my favorite to be sure. The lis just something about this historic building turned wedding hot spot that get me. An old story to add to your new story. The bride chose to get ready in the Eldorado's bridal suite and the groom opted for the Delta. I started with the groom in the morning at the Delta Grand Okanagan hotel in Kelowna.
I'm so honored that Kelly and Brian chose me to capture this quaint Okanagan elopement at the Summerhill Winery in Kelowna BC. This was the first elopement that I have been lucky enough to photograph, and I must say it was amazing. Those of you that know me are aware that I love all of the details, tablescapes, and floral arrangements of a typical wedding.

I had Jennifer photograph for my wedding and I cannot say enough to how above and beyond she went for us. We battled with covid throwing wrenches in our plans, resulting in planning a whole new wedding in a different town, and she was the calm we needed through it all. Through family drama, rain, and smoke, she did it with a smile and made everyone comfortable whether that was making us laugh or being patient when needed. Jennifer photographed our wedding at the beginning of March and we couldn’t imagine anyone better for us. My husband and I have never had any photos taken of us other then yearly school photos or work head shots... we couldn’t believe how both Jennifer and Jake made us feel so comfortable. Lots of laughs were had with them! Everything went so seamlessly when it came to family photos and nothing off schedule. Jennifer is a wonderful person and photographer. She is friendly and I felt completely comfortable around her. It was extremely easy to be myself and because of that, my interaction in front of the camera was genuine rather than posed or forced. My fiancè & I ADORED working with Jennifer & her husband in France. We did a modeling shoot with her & had a blast. She did a great job making us comfortable, explaining any time in between which shooting with film and just a kind, genuine person! Not once did we feel uncomfortable or awkward. Being a wedding photographer myself, it was SO nice to be treated so well on the other side of the camera. Even my fiancè talked a lot about how he really enjoyed working with her & ladies, if you know men, they DO NOT like to have their pictures taken, so that was huge! Wish she lived in our home state

Jennifer made us feel so special leading up to our wedding and the day of. Her and her husband, Jake were on board for doing a winter engagement shoot at big white ski hill. We all froze our toes off but they were there with tons of energy and ideas and really accepted this idea, thanks guys! The photos from the engagement session were magical. We are from out of town and Jennifer took the initiative to think of all the small details. I took a photography class with Jennifer and was surprised at how much I learned. Jennifer inspired me to improve and go out there and shoot!
The class included an outdoor photo shoot where I got to put what I learned in the classroom session into practice. Watching how a pro composes and sets the camera up for the shot, and then trying yourself is the best way to learn.
I would also recommend Jennifer for all your photography needs. She has a light and airy style of photography and she shoots both digital and film!
I want to take another class with Jennifer soon and will not hesitate to hire
