The cashier was friendly and efficient. I also picked up some designer sun glasses and a gorgeous urn. The price's were fair, the carpet's are a fraction of what you'd pay downtown, I walked away feeling like I'd received a good deal. I'm definitely going back! We have customers visiting our Antique/ Second Hand Store from across Victoria, Nanaimo, and the Greater Vancouver Area.

Due to Safety Protocol processes have changed to minimize in person contact. Once pandemic is over we will be able to somewhat return to our regular process of accepting goods. We will be making exceptions and keeping items for you to take back if not sellable. It will need to be requested at the time of drop off.
For the safety of all we are working hard and making sure we provide a safe work environment and safe place to shop for our customers. How most efficiently give payment to customers Please keep in minds there is still a vast amount of our customers that do not have a computer, cell phone, bank account or credit card and we must be able to safely serve all equally.

I used to love shopping there. However, years ago I took some furniture to them to sell for me. They quoted me the price for each piece. When I went back to collect the furniture, they said it had sold. I was so glad! They handed over half the money that I had been quoted. I asked why and they said they had lowered the price. I said I hadn't been told they were going to do that. They said it was a new policy and handed me a form that had been updated since I dropped off my furniture. I said that wasn't fair, but they wouldn't budge. I found it very underhanded and haven't been back since...

Poor customer service. Very rude employees. I have a medical problem, so I am not able to wear a mask. I was yelled at when entering the store. This is a form of harrasment. I should not have to explain myself. I will never be going into that store again. Victoria is a small town word gets around fast.

Reviewing because of whiny Ethan complaining that the Superchance has required masks since august.
At that time, I felt safe because of their practices for COVID. I bought a chair and they allowed me to take a day or so to arrange a pickup. They were helpful and courteous. I’ve shopped at Superchance numerous times over the years and I think it’s a great shop. If people like Ethan don’t return, I’m okay with that.
Still love my chair.

Love this shop. Barbara is great at what she does. Her shop is a Pandora's box of useful, eclectic and beautiful things. You never know what you'll bring home. Drop in even if you don't need anything. There is always something to catch your eye. Something you've been watching for, just the perfect gift, or a whimsy for yourself.

On a visit to Victoria from mainland US, we purchased several pieces of beautifully framed artwork for reasonable prices. The store featured high quality oriental rugs, a bit of furniture, lots of framed art, knick knacks, household, china and crystal. We stopped in 4 times in two days, each of the last 3 times to get something we felt we couldn't live without.

Can't believe this only has one review! This is a great little consignment shop with a little bit of everything. With Value Village and other places going up up up in price, this place is still a gem with good deals. And frankly I find some way better stuff here - not much for clothes, but everything else - vintage toys, decor, kitchenware...love it! I have never consigned here either but thank you to those of you who do!

Great little, local consignment shop tucked away by Thrifty's and Spinnakers. Love the reasonable prices. Have not sold anything here, but do love to shop it. Huge selection of china and tea cups, silver, antique items, home and kitchen items, art, etc. Good place to find classy and/or quirky gifts. Friendly service.
