Dr. Charron graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He continued at the University of Manitoba and graduated in 1995 as a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry.
We are a family dentistry practice located in Chatham, Ontario, where we served our community since 1977. The office is located on land previously owned by Daniel's Coal Yard, and the original office was the Daniel's family home. In 1977 Dr. Bruce Warwick established the dental practice and in 1992 a new 5400 square foot facility was built on the same location.

Dental technologies have changed dramatically since we opened our doors in 1977. One of the most significant changes in that time has been the use of computer-aided imaging technology. Digital X-rays have replaced film-based X-rays just as digital cameras have replaced film cameras. These computer-aided X-ray systems use significantly less X-ray radiation to produce images that are clearer and more detailed than images using film.
Do you have a dental emergency? We provide emergency dental care to existing patients. If you're injured or suffering from a dental emergency contact our office 519-354-6000 and we will attempt to see you on the same day. If you're suffering from pain, you can gain some relief with over-the-counter pain medication.

Leaving this review as a request from my parents. They have been patients at Grand West Dental for the past 30 years. They absolutely love it here. Everyone is so great. From the helpful welcoming staff, to the friendly assistants and hygienists, to the caring and knowledgeable dentists. I was a patient here as well until I moved away. My parents and I would recommend this office to anyone! Keep up the great work!

Horrible group, couldn't even fill a cavity correctly. I asked for a refund since it would cost the same to fill my cavity correctly, nothing. Dr. Amanda Harrison should be ashamed of herself. Such horrible work.
I went to another dentist place and I had my teeth fixed up cleanly, no mistakes. They asked who filled my cavity and I told them. They were shocked. My cavity was filled so bad they had to ask!

I wish I could write a 0 star for this horrible dentist group. Dr. Miez was the only good dentist here. Unfortunately he relocated(smart). Went to fill a cavity and Dr. Amanda Hariss filled it wrong. Do not go here. Lighthouse dentist or any other dentist group(probably) is much better. My cavity was filled wrong and needs reworking. Not a good place. They use old dental tools as well(to save money and this also means you have a risk of STDs.) Most of the staff are very nice, however the most important is the dentist and unfortunately since the only good dentist left, it's not advisable to go to

I developed an infected tooth shortly after moving to the area. After calling several offices and getting nowhere, Grand West was willing to see me on the same day. I was assigned to Dr. Henry Miecz. He and his assistant were wonderful. In fact everyone I spoke to was friendly and most helpful. Even the bill was better than I expected. I definitely recommend this place, and particularly Dr. Miecz. Great guy.

A personable friendly atmosphere greets me with every visit. The level of Professionalism and high quality work provided by the Doctors is exceptional. I appreciate the attention that is given to my comfort by the Dental Assistant and Doctor ensuring I have a pain free experience. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I was made fun of by the doctor himself when I told him how my teeth had become crooked since we I was pregnant and had sever infection. Meanwhile my own midwife was alarmed at the sight she recommended me to see a dentist. To my dismay I was ridiculed. I forgive you though because I became a Christian and do not want to be poisoned with bitterness again. I'm writing this so others will be aware.

Our family has had nothing but great service from this office. The receptionists are incredibly busy, but take the time to speak with you as soon as you get to the desk.
Timely billing and return with our insurance provider, helpful reminder calls, and prompt response to inquiry. Granted, they are a really busy office which sometimes means a wait time for appointments, but they are very accommodating when when asked to check for cancellations etc.
