Somehow this place manages to live right in the middle of Kanata, yet feels like you’ve been transported to a quiet and serene place away from it all. It’s built in a historic building and they’ve done a great job preserving the look and feel without anything feeling old and creaky inside.
Had a shellac manicure done and the experience was wonderful. Two weeks in and it still looks as perfect as it was day one!

I was given bangs I didn't ask for. It was my first time here so I brought a photo of the hair I wanted but it was completely disregarded by the stylist. Even after coming back to "fix" the mess the style I wanted was unable to be achieved due to the bangs I was given. I left the second time being told to deal with it for the next 6 month until they grewout. I didn't come here to pay them only to make me feel ugly and leave in tears. I appreciate the second stylist who tried to reshape things but she still couldn't fix the damage that the first created. I'd like an

My husband surprised me by treating me to a 45 minute massage. When I walked in I was blown away by how beautiful and calming the interior was. The massage room was beautifully appointed and soothing with low light, soft Japanese music. It was my first experience being at a Spa and receiving a massage. It did not disappoint. My masseuse Natasha had magic hands and 45 minutes flew by. I highly recommend. Not only is it beautiful and relaxing but also very affordable. Can not give enough praise. I will return...next time with my husband.

I have been going to The Spa since the Bells Corners location opened and was thrilled when the larger and closer to home Kanata location opened.
Initially The Spa was top notch.
Now - horrible. The customer service at the check-in and more importantly checking out desk is extremely rude, unprofessional and perform their tasks inadequately.
I have used multiple services throughout my many years with The Spa and the only reason I walk through the door now is that my long standing hair stylist is there. Otherwise, I would not want to spend another dime in this establishment.
The owners really need

I've been looking for a new waxing lady since my main one is off for medical leave so I looked up the spas nearest me and out popped up The Spa in Kanata, so I called them up and asked them what wax they used for Brazilian waxing and they said "hard wax" so I booked in my apt. The day of my apt when I walked in I was greeted and seated and everything was fine till I got called into the room, and the waxing had started. When she first applied the wax I realized it wasn't hard wax but it was Strip wax. I brought it up to the estheticians attention and she said that it was fine

This is one of only 2 of my favourite locations in all of the Ottawa area to get a pedicure. So much so that I am quite surprised that I have never written a review for it! Therefore it is with great pleasure that I introduce my 250th review! The Spa Day Retreat offers a wide variety of services, and they are exceptional at delivering them.
