Austin Gourmet is a family business all grown up! Doug & Jann Crewe (chefs - owners) still work in the day-to-day operation of their catering company, retail store and home menu plan. We began as Top Quality Catering in 1988 in Vancouver moving our commissary to North Delta in 1994 and finally Coquitlam in 1999, continually needing larger facilities to serve our every growing client base.
A selection of house baked muffins, fruit stuffed Danish, butter croissants, assorted sweet & savory scones with all necessary butter & preserves. Served with your choice of either a fresh cut fruit platter or a basket of whole piece fruit. A selection from blueberry, apple cinnamon, carrot, lemon poppy seed, banana chocolate chip, & seasonal breakfast loaves served with all necessary butter & preserves.
This is the perfect blend of quality coffee beans from centureies such as Brazil and Peru, it has a mild nutty flavour with a slightly spicy finish. Lively Up Yourself with our smooth, rich blend of creamy caramel and dark chocolate flavors. Additionally, We can Add Desserts to match your Guest Count, Please speak with a Catering Coordinator.
Build your customized stations menu. Choose a minimum of 4. If you don't see the one you want, ask us to customize a station to your preference. Selection of chicken tender skewers marinade in ginger, garlic, cilantro & fresh lime. Beef striploin skewers marinade in lemongrass, kaffir lime, fresh chillies, palm sugar & tamarind.

We hired this company for our wedding (November 2018) and almost all communication was done via email, which is fine. I have a deadly citrus allergy and requested no citrus on the fresh fruit plates, and to change the citrus vinaigrette to something else and was very very VERY clear (repeatedly) that I was deathly allergic to oranges and citrus and needed to verify they did not have any citrus in or on any of the food. They assured me they would make sure there was no citrus.
When their delivery person came by and started unloading

Although we ended up needing to make other arrangements in the end, I want to commend Yasmin and the team at Austin for being so professional and helpful in helping provide info for getting a quote, as well as being very informative about the rules / regulations for film set catering when it comes to union requirements.
When the time comes when we need to source a catering service, we will definitely reach out to Austin just based on this professionalism alone! :)

My Fiance and I reached out to Austin Gourmet in early 2020 to cater our wedding in May 2020. The reviews looked good, menu options looked great, and the price was right. In the early stages of our experience the staff was keen and attentive when answering our questions and setting up the service. We paid out deposit in early March 2020 before the pandemic shut down services. That was when communication broke down. Austin Gourmet catered two charity events for our Society. The food was delicious, there was plenty of it, and a good selection. Our guests loved it. The service was excellent and very professional. Communication with the staff before and during the event was good, and we enjoyed working with the team. Very reasonable prices. We definitely would be working with them again in the future!

We used Austin Gourmet for our coprorate AGM and the service from the time we ordered to the end of the event and clean up was excellent. The event coordinating staff were really helpful in planning our menu and answered all our questions and even gave pointers for event day. The food was fantastic and the service staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Many of the reviews from the 126 people who attended were on the quality of food. We will definitely be using them again for our corporate functions.

After trying for 6 weeks to book them for our wedding we finally gave up. Either they wouldn't respond to emails or return calls. The food looked good so we figured we would still choose to work with them although they wouldn't let us do a tasting until January when we inquired in November. Eventually they told us to call after January because their menu was changing. We called to arrange a tasting and they weren't able to accommodate us at all. They werent able to give us a price or anything either. Just really bad customer service.

I hired Austin Gourmet for my wedding and waited till they have done their job to make sure I have a detailed and accurate evaluation of the company. Personally, I would never work with them again and I will never recommend them to anyone else. However, lets start with some pros:
Pros: decent prices, good food options, some of the servers were some what friendly, most of the food tasted pretty good.
Unfortunately, the amount of cons outweigh the pros. I had a lot of disappointments with the way this organization is run and it is not great at all.

Was so excited about their build your own stations. it was exactly what I was looking for. do I emailed them. two weeks later, I hear nothing so I decided to try emailing again. nothing. after a month, I called… and told them the situation, they took my phone number and name, and said they would get back to me. it's been two more weeks and I havent heard anything. so disappointing.

We hired to help us celebrate our 2018 Minto Cup National Championship victory. Danelle and her team did an amazing job. The food was excellent, the staff were prompt at clearing tables and cleaning up after the event. We had over 100 people in a very small venue and the team did a great job making our event a huge success.

Austin Gourmet was great! They were helpful during the planning process and the people are very personable. We loved the tasting and the food at the wedding was great! Our guests LOVED the food. So many people told me that it was the best wedding food they've had. The team that came out to our wedding was great as well and very attentive. The price was also really doable and they offer a lot of different options for people with different budget levels. Would recommend for sure.

We used Austin Gourmet for our corporate lunch and learn for the first time in January 2018 and was not disappointed! The BBQ Beef Brisket was tender and flavorful. Excellent pricing and selection. Our client even mentioned that the delivery person was very polite and courteous. We will definitely be ordering from Austin Gourmet again.

Austin Gourmet was great! We used them for our company party a few weeks ago and they arrived in a timely matter to set up the amazing food that we had ordered. Everything was delicious and I heard a lot of great feedback from my coworkers.
They also have great customer service and reply back to emails almost immediately. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

Doug and his team were amazing! We were looking for a caterer to support us with a small cozy Meet & Greet event on a Sunday morning and we are glad to have found Austin Gourmet! First, they were so easy to work with, all we need to do was to give a brief of the event and they do the rest! We were delighted that we did not need to use up the entire budget set aside for the type of nibbles & drinks we were looking at (unlike other caterers we were comparing with). Short of saying that Austin Gourmet helped us channelled some budget to other areas of our event!

Each time they've come their food has been fresh and hot literally right from the oven. I used Austin Gourmet this past June to cater my parents 70th wedding anniversary at which there were 40 guests. I ordered off the grab and go menu as we were serving the guests buffet style and did not need servers. I did read some of the not so complimentary reviews from 2015 but after reviewing their website and speaking to them personally I had a good feeling about using them.

Run away. I will start with the positive the food is tasty. good food. They have a good cook. But service is horible. I used them for my Daughters Baptism party. They made alot of mistakes. They came about an hour late. forgot the chafing dishes. went back to get them. didnt bring a lighter. i had to find a guest with one. they forgot the buns and coffee. the came back quickly with the buns. The coffee came about 2.5 hours late. every one was done dessert. The coffee came with old milk. he quickly got more but very little. and very little sugar. i mentioned thats not enough. he said it is and walked

Austin Gourmet has to be one of the best finds of 2014 for us. They were recommended by friends when we needed some catering for our wedding party, and we have gone back to them several times since for different events. It's easy to order, they have a wide selection, their website is great- and the food is awesome. You need to try their spinach dip- its out of this world amazing! Total five star vote for Austin Gourmet.
