Global Physiotherapy started with a vision of being able to provide high-quality physiotherapy services, supported by experienced personel with the necessary qualifications. Global Physiotherapy has purchased the latest Radial Shockwave Technology from Storz Medical. Storz hand makes each Storz machine in Switzerland. It is one of the few companies that are FDA approved. The Storz MP50 is a perfect fit for our experienced physiotherapists' global treatment approach. A shockwave is an intense, but very short energy wave traveling faster than the speed of sound.
Sherwood Park sports physio from Global Physiotherapy includes treatment of the spine, joints, muscles, nerves, and fascia. Athletes of all ages can sustain acute injuries or battle with recurring or chronic injuries. All have the same main goal: to return to their sport. We can help you achieve this goal as soon as possible.
Participate in research, promote the profession, and provide education to clients and other health profession. Global Physiotherapy - Sherwood Park is dedicated to taking adequate time to determine the physiotherapy diagnosis and treatment plan for clients. We make up-to-date physiotherapy treatments available to all clients.
Physiotherapists learn spinal manipulation as part of continuing education courses in Canada. The Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association is responsible for the standards of education and supervises exams required to meet the standards of the International Federation of Manipulative Physiotherapists (IFOMPT).

I'm so thankful that I found Global Physiotherapy. Not only did they provide me with relief from my pain, which I have suffered with for far too long, but took the time to explain how it came about, where it started from and what I could do to prevent it from coming back. They are professional, respectful and genuinely care about their patients. I was shown and taught exercises at my appointment plus emailed instruction videos of same exercises which helped me tremendously! I went here after I was in a car accident. Saw Lisa for 16 sessions, who was phenomenal and extremely focused on ensuring that I got back to 100% as quickly as possible. Came here a few months later to deal with a recurring wrist injury. Extremely professional and flexible for working around my work schedule, and even direct bill my private health insurance! Would instantly recommend them to anyone looking for a physiotherapist... I will definitely be returning if I ever need physio in the future.

I had the good fortune to be referred to Leasa when I fell on an icy sidewalk in mid-January of this year. She was terrific, from the first appointment to the day I "graduated"...always attentive, always supportive, always kind and encouraging and most importantly incredibly good at what she does so that I can declare myself completely healed from my injury, which seemed like a very remote possibility in the early weeks after I fell. I hope I never see her again, except maybe on the running trails, but if I do, I won't hesitate to reach out to her.

I went to Global Physio for TMJ 'locking', I couldn't open my mouth very wide and eating was extremely difficult and painful. Cindy was great, I worked with her for months to strengthen the muscles in my jaw so that I could eat without pain and improve how far I could open my jaw. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating as my initial visit was made as a bit of an emergency. I also was experiencing sciatica at the time and she helped me with that as well. I would highly recommend this clinic and their services.

A big thank you to Cindy and her team at Global Physiotherapy. A long active lifestyle led me to some circulation issues in my arms and hands with numbness after sleeping and during cycling. Cindy’s informed approach to treatment led us to a positive result quickly. I went to Global for my shoulder pain. I had the pain for approximately 8 months prior to my visit, and I believe it was from working and carrying heavy tool bags on that particular shoulder. I saw Jerri for about 8 weeks and she was great! Very knowledgeable, made me feel very comfortable, as well as provided me with different treatment options. My pain was at a 10, I was unable to sleep, work or do everyday things without the constant stab of it. Gradually, throughout the 8 weeks of my treatment I was amazed at how my shoulder pain dissapeared. The last 4 weeks I had the shockwave treatment done

I have been seeing Cindy for various reasons for the last 6 years. First time plantar fasciitis with great success, knee injury 4years ago and thanks to Cindy for her expertise I was successfully treated without having to have surgery. Now I am being treated for frozen shoulder and improving significantly after a couple of treatments. … Was treated by her colleagues other physiotherapists and they were all fantastic. I have been very pleased and grateful for the help I got at Global Physiotherapy! Over the years I have seen two different therapists for separate issues and both were so helpful. Before coming to Global I didn’t have much confidence in physiotherapy as other times I had found it less than helpful! I am grateful that they take a whole body approach and treat contributing areas and not just the pain area. They are kind and compassionate people. I highly recommend Global Physiotherapy!!

I’ve been to several physiotherapy clinics. Global Physiotherapy is the first one that assessed me head to toe to get to the root of my pain. I worked with several physiotherapists along the way and they were all fantastic at taking the time needed to gather information before each treatment session. They gave me options on treatments and took my feedback on the results from my previous session. Each physiotherapist was highly trained and had years of experience. My journey to healing my back has taken a couple of years, and they did not give up on me! I feel like I now have the tools to move

I booked my treatments with Carlie and from that first visit and throughout each of my sessions, my pain level is assessed, and treatment plan continuously adjusted which involves laser therapy, massage and range of motion exercises.
At the end of… every session I can feel progress which encourages me to stay on track with my online home exercise program that’s been created for me. Carlie’s compassionate, friendly, attentive and a thorough professional who always listens

This is the third time Cindy Coneen and her crew at Global Physiotherapy in Sherwood Park have come to my rescue.
It has been 3 weeks since I belly flopped on the swimming pool deck and I have been in major pain the whole time since. But yesterday I got a laser and photonic treatment from Cindy. I’m such a block head. Why did I wait so long? Almost instant relief. 95% better.
If your physiotherapist or chiropractor does not use laser and photonic therapy, find a new clinic. Simply amazing and PAINLESS. .Thanks again Cindy.

I've been seeing Carlie for physiotherapy and acupuncture and have improved SO much since I first started going. I've gone to other physiotherapists but she is definitely the most knowledgeable, dedicated, and caring therapist I've seen. All the staff there are very professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

To anyone considering a physiotherapist - give Global Physiotherapy a try for sure. Cindy is focused, knowledgeable, and doesn't just jump to/commit to, a set of treatments and then just repeats this for every visit. She actually asks questions and tests flexibility etc. over time to determine the results of therapy. If the treatments are not… getting results she applies another approach. She also provides homework in the form of exercise and stretching that supports and speeds up the healing processes. I very much appreciated her approach, experience and thoughtfulness in solving the injury
