Melanie and Amanda are a mother daughter duo who each offer unique experiences and perspectives to the business. Melanie has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years in a variety of roles, she has vast experience in tax preparation and bookkeeping. In 2016 Melanie transitioned from the financial services industry into M.A. Tax Plus on a full time basis.
Her financial planning background and knowledge of taxation of investments provide valuable insight and knowledge to ensure our clients get good advice for their particular situation. Amanda graduated with a Bachelor of Science with a major in Environmental Science in 2005. She was a consultant in the Environmental Health and Safety Field for a number of years.

Services
All prices include GST & e-filing unless client is unable to e-file. If e-filing is not possible, we will provide you with an appropriate paper copy of the return to submit to the CRA. Basic return plus a completed expenses statement for the Declarations of Conditions of Employment. Basic return plus a completed self employment statement.

I have been going to M.A. Tax Plus for the past few years and will never go anywhere else. Melanie and Amanda are so wonderful to work with and are incredibly efficient, professional and knowledgable. I have been to many other places over the years before coming to this business and none even come close to the top notch customer service they provide. I highly recommend them!

Amanda and Melanie of M.A. Tax Plus have been phenomenal with our taxes. Our taxes were a bit on the complex side and they tackled it quickly and well, getting us a fantastic return. When our medical expenses were audited they assisted us every step of the way in getting it taken care of. They are incredibly knowledgeable and professional.

We don’t ever stress about tax time. M.A Tax Plus is so friendly, fast and efficient. They always make our timeline work when we have a time crunch since my husband works away. They do such a great job and have even answered my questions when I needing help long before tax time.

I cannot say enough good things about M.A. Tax Plus! I just started my own business a couple years ago and they have been nothing but helpful. They are available to answer questions whenever I need - even when it is not close to tax time. They also help to explain things in terms that are easier to understand (which is lovely!). I would highly recommend their services and would refer them to everyone!

M. A. Tax Plus was amazing! Not only did they sort through and file 4 years of back tax paper work; M.A. Tax Plus also came to see me Halloween night to ensure they understood my business. (Halloween night was the only evening that week we both had available.) I was very impressed and have recomended M. A. Tax Plus to many friends and family members. I will be returning to M. A. Tax Plus for my 2017 business and personal taxes!
