Dr. Budd was born and raised in Richmond. He attended the University of British Columbia for eight years, and received his Bachelor of Science in 1990 and Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1994. Upon graduation, Dr. Budd was selected to join the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon fraternity for finishing in the top 5% of his class.
We are committed to providing the highest quality of clinical care and personalized service in a warm and compassionate atmosphere. Dr. Budd and the staff enjoy getting to know each patient and the family, and love creating relationships that last multiple generations. We believe in providing optimal treatment results, but recognize that the experience of orthodontic treatment is crucial, too.
Here at Budd Orthodontics, we recognize that nobody wants to have permanent teeth extracted as part of your orthodontic treatment. Dr. Budd's first choice is always to treat a case without extracting permanent teeth. However, he also realizes that certain cases exhibit severe crowding and are best treated through the removal of teeth.

This has been a terrible experience!
The one front end staff member was, and is the rudest person.
Its a shame as Dr.Budd is very nice, but its not worth dealing with the front end !
They keep a running file of all communication with the parents that is so not accurate and on sided that gets passed to all the staff. As I said this has been such a disappointment as Dr. Budd is very nice.

Our son has just finished his orthodontic treatment and we wanted to express our delight in the finished product. His case was a difficult one involving a very detailed , complicated treatment plan which included oral surgery to correct a significant underbite. The whole process was flawless and the coordination between Dr Budd and the oral surgeon was precision. I would highly recommend Dr Budd and his staff not only for their highly regarded clinical skills but also for their approachability , kindness and empathy as he went through this life changing transformation.
