Akvaboard is a fast drying waterborne primer that is designed for spray, curtain coater, or vacuum applications. This high solids product has excellent adhesion, including over 100% UV sealers. It can be top-coated with select acid cured products. It is easy to sand and extremely low VOC's and HAPs free.

When you are planning to purchase any equipment / tools from them, make sure they are able to provide you with parts in the future. I purchased DYNABRADE Electric Dynisher Finishing Tool Grinder and they are not able to get abrasive belts for this machine. They visited my shop to provide me with a clear coat and when they did see what I am doing for living, they offered me that grinder machine - I did NOT ask for it!! But sales person persuade, so, I spent close to $600.00 and now I own beautiful grinder with no belts!

I had gone to the north Calgary location to price out and see if they could do a black walnut dye. when I explained what I was looking for the sales representative responded with "we have straight black dye" and didn't understand that black walnut is a type of wood I was trying to match the color too. when I tried to explain the project and what black walnut was, he questioned why i wanted a dye and followed that up with how some stains aren't food safe. By the end of the 20 minutes I found out that "mixing black and white makes grey" and that they cant help unless you have a sample of the finished

They have great selection of wiping stains. What I don't like is that they don't have samples people could borrow. If you bring your own wood pieces, they will make for you for charge of course , but it is time consuming and complicated unless you are not in rush.
