1. Have your child push a car or train around a track. You can start by drawing a "street" or track on a large piece of paper with your child. Your child will stabilize his/her weight on the non-dominant hand while moving the car or train along the pathway with their dominant hand.2. ICBC active rehabilitation is a customized exercise program designed to help you recover as quick as possible from a motor vehicle accident. This program consists of gradual exercises and movements to help relieve pain and gain postural strength and muscle endurance. Swift Health ICBC active rehab sessions are led by experienced practicing kinesiologists who are.
By providing client-centred strategies, occupational therapists optimize health and well-being for a variety of patients. Some of the ways in which an OT can allow patients to engage more fully in activities that are important to their everyday lives. Confer with physicians, patients and their families, nurses, therapists, social workers, and other members of a patient's care team.
The active rehab program is designed to recover physical function after an injury. This can be a direct referral from ICBC, WSBC, lawyers or therapists. The ultimate goal of Active Rehab is to get you back to full movement function in the shortest time possible. For ICBC you are pre-approved and do not need a referral.
Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) at Swift Health are experts in communication. Our SLPs provide assessment, treatment and advise for children who have speech, language, and communication needs. Advice and training to parents, carers and other professionals to enable them to carry out therapy programmes.
