My wife and I purchased a 2015 BMW X5 35d spring of 2021. Loved the condition and price of the BMW. We made an offer and Don accepted it.(great price) After driving the beemer a little while it had an engine service light come on. It needed some parts and probably close to a full days worth of diagnostic work, r &r and computer upgrades. Don and Lindsay took care of everything in a very professional manner. Wow what service. I was stranded on the side of the road and they were open on a Saturday. They helped me find a tow truck cause all the googled ones didn't work. They got me fixed up within days with all new a/c. I am a tourist who is deeply grateful.

We purchased a car and took it to Don for servicing. It was the first time we have used McLachlan Auto. Our drop off time was 8am and when we arrived Don said it would be ready at 10am and they would call. At 10am we got a call saying the car was ready. Don and Lindsay were friendly and helpful and we now have found our new home for car maintenance. Also I was having problems connecting my cell to the car and I returned to McLachlan's and they took the time to help me get it all set up. What better service can one get?

I called this business from Vancouver regarding a 2016 BWM I8 they had listed. I sent off an email as an enquiry submitting the "What's My Trade Worth" section. I received an email from a salesperson, Beverly, Beth or something like that that stated they were in receipt of my email and someone else had to give me a ballpark number for my Mercedes C63 AMG trade. Two weeks go by and nothing. I follow up with another email asking if they have a number for me yet or have decided they don't want my business. No reply. That was a month ago. Purchasing a BMW X5 from this dealership was the worst decision we could have possibly made.
Overall the entire experience was terrible. From false mechanical reports, brake problems shortly after purchase, Injector problems shortly there after with zero accountability from the owner/dealership. Dangerously there were also 2 factory recalls on the vehicle that were not disclosed when we drove off the lot and only discovered months later once we took it to a certified mechanic.
In our opinion the owner was absolutely miserable, condescending and combative. I would recommend saving yourself a ton

We had an amazing experience here! We had some issues with our BMW just outside Cranbrook and had our car towed here as Trail was the closest place to service BMWs. We had nothing but excellent service. I called just before close and they told me just to leave it after hours and they would look at the next day. Despite a full day the owner came in and looked at it before they opened. By 8:00 the next morning he gave us a call and discussed the problem and had it out by that afternoon! Excellent company. They mostly sell used BMWs and other European makes and have excellent technical knowledge on what they sell. These people will bend over backwards to help you get what you need. Service pricing is competitive and I highly recommend with any used vehicle purchase that you also get a warranty package. I have purchased 2 vehicles from them and have all my mechanical work done here. I have referred my friends and family to McLachlan's and l go there for all my vehicle needs.
