Desert Surfside is about owning one of the best vacation rental properties in the Okanagan. Desert Surfside is a 26 suite beachfront property in sunny Osoyoos. These Sante Fe Spanish designed suites offer beautiful lake views and are completely furnished for short or long term stays. We are a four season vacation property that has been tailored to meet the needs of all types of vacationers.
We were so pleased with our stay that we will be coming again next year. The beach is immaculately cared for, the rooms were fabulous and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a great time at Desert Surfside. Location is good, suite was clean and well stocked. We will recommend this place to our friends and will definitely stay here when next in Osoyoos.

At our beachfront resort Osoyoos hotel, we have 26 suites offering 5 different suite configurations from studios to fully equipped 2 bedroom suites, and we accommodate a variety of needs.
For a casual dinner, or maybe a place to relax with others, the Campo Marina offers fantastic italian food, as well as a bar and an ample wine list. The restaurant offers the best eat in service within walking distance, as it is a short 8 minute walk down east Main Street. For alternative Italian cuisine, there's a nearby pizzeria on the Osoyoos mainstreet.
Sonora Dunes is a 9-hole, 2523 yard, par-35 course. Located in rolling hills overlooking Lake Osoyoos, Sonora welcomes golfers of all skill levels. After your game you can stop at their bar & concession for the on-the-go snack bar, or on the weekends, the beef barbequed burger. Located above Osoyoos in the desert mountainside, visit the two full sized 18-hole courses, driving range, or practice areas.

I have been Staying at the Desert Surfside for 10 years now and Osoyoos for 20 years . Love everything about it, location is great, Beachfront on the lake, staff are so friendly, rooms equipped with everything you need for your stay. There is a great patio section on the beach with a place to bbq if your room doesn't have one, and the staff is willing and able to help with anything you may need through out your stay. Will continue to stay here for as long as i come to beautiful wine country Osoyoos.

We have stayed here a few times in the past 5 years. We decided this year to book a full week.
Upon arrival check in is easy enough. We move our gear upstairs to find the linens have sand in them (main bed and living room pullout), the dining table has oatmeal stuck to it, the glasses in the cupboard are foggy with fingerprints, and the floor seemed mopped - but definitely not swept. We spent our first hour and a half cleaning a room that should be immaculate during a pandemic and shelling out $300 a day. Despite a sour start we carried forward.

We never thought we'd get a room, (just then someone came in and had to leave on emergency at work), We got studio 201 facing the lake thought it might be noisy being at the end, but wasn't and lots of light and privacy. The rooms are very nice and Staff is top notch and warm like the Lake. We love Osoyoos and can count on the sun for our limited vacation, love the Wineries and Golf around as well . The small town feel without traffic lights :)

In the summer you get beautiful room, a beautiful beach, wonderful staff, and a wonderful area too. In what I would say is the PRIME location in Ossoyous you aren't far from the wineries, the beach, the amusement park, the grocery store, the liquor store, the pub, basically everything you could ever want for every age group is in this location. Beautiful rooms with beautiful views add to the experience. This may not be prime location for people who want to party hard but if you have a family of really any age you can bring them here and have a good time.

The location is quite nice. Close to downtown, lakes on both sides. Lounge by the beach or go for a walk. The room was clean. Nice kitchen and cutlery was there for our convenience. There was some defect (or a goblin) in the roof. It was windy and we were disturbed by a tapping sound coming from the roof. It was quite persistent and kept us awake for a long time. Vernon, the person who checked us in was friendly and co-operative. Such a nice and positive man, he never asked for our ID's and checked us in. It felt nice to be believed just on my word for once.
