Fantastic customer service. Several years ago I purchased minimalist titanium wire frames - which have since held a couple iterations of updated lenses. Despite the age of the frames, the staff continues to provide adjustments, minor repairs and advice. I very much appreciate the style, quality products, and customer service on offer at Ocean.

I received really fantastic, warm and helpful assistance from all the staff at Ocean Optometry. As a person who makes his living as a graphic designer, my eyesight is my number one priority. The doctor and… staff at Ocean made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions, and ran the full battery of tests to determine the health of my eyes and my proper, fine-tuned, prescription.
Their selection of frames was also exciting, with a good price range to accommodate many people.

The best fitting and seeing glasses I have ever had! They are fantastic and the fit is amazing - feels like nothing on my face.

Alicia is also a top optician who literally analyzes everything as you speak (head tilt, eye positions, everything) to ensure the lenses match your everyday mannerisms (worst explanation ever but you will see what I mean).

This place was very homey and everyone was very kind. I had Dr John Wilson and he was great! It was my first visit and he was very kind and wanted to get to know me. He was very respectful and asked me what pronouns I would prefer to go by and I think that’s incredible. He talked me through everything in detail what was going to happen and I felt very well taken of. I would highly recommend!

This was my first visit to a Maritime optometrist. Both Alicia and Dr. Wilson were incredibly kind and welcoming. During the preliminary examinations, Alicia made sure I was comfortable with the machine heights, etc. Dr. Wilson provided a profusely thorough eye examination and explained the details of my results. Moreover, the store itself is beautifully decorated and feels very welcoming. I will be sure to visit again should any other eye needs arise before my check-up next year.

Dropped in, in early November for an eye exam and it turned out I needed glasses. Was able to pick out a pair of frames and within a week I had the glasses I needed. The staff a Ocean Optometry were quick, experienced, and friendly. I had no complaints. I will continue to go to Ocean Optometry for all my glasses needs in the future.

Always a stellar experience at Ocean! Staff are incredibly friendly, and their care is thorough and well-explained. Their equipment is top of the line and I loved being able to see details on images and asking questions about what I was seeing. They were most obliging with answering my nerdy questions! Ocean's eyewear selection is absolutely stunning, and though pricier than other places, I can attest that they are of the best quality. I've had my Tom Davies specs for years without an issue! I was visiting Halifax on the long weekend when I had sudden eye issues. Called many places and was turned away. O.O. called me back and fit me in same day! Dr Wilson went through all the tests, even taking the time to explain the images and stats before helping me figure out my issues, and kindly sending info to my medical team in Ontario. Ocean is a stunning eyewear boutique offering a beautiful array of frames that are more like works of art. Unfortunately, none of them fit my freakishly small face! But that’s OK, because they also carry the amazing Tom Davis eyewear line, which is fully customizable, bespoke eyeglasses! I picked up my new glasses this afternoon. I am so very happy with them. Mike had me put them on. Checked the fit. Went off to make an adjustment. When I put them on again, it was as if I'd been wearing them forever, only I could see better!

I cannot say enough about Ocean Optometry! From the start, as soon as I was greeted the service was impeccable and it did not stop until I left!! Dr. McGinty was clear and methodical. He stopped several times during my appointment to make sure that I understood what was going on, or to ask if I had any questions.
