Nothing like having glasses that need a quick repair from the place you bought them on a Friday morning only to find out that they won't let you in the store even for a repair without an appointment that's not available until at least the following Monday.... Sure I guess my wife will just go without glasses for the weekend. Won't be dealing with this business again if this is how they're handling things.

Got my eye exam done after a couple of years. Had a really great experience with the staff and Dr. Victoria French at Eyes on Lacewood. Kayla, Katie and Myrna were a great help throughout especially when choosing a glass frame from their wide variety of options that would be a perfect fit for me! All of the members were very welcoming and would recommend checking out this location for anyone looking for a new eye doctor!!

My first complaint would be with the receptionist when I called to book an eye exam. The first with this company. She answered the phone "eyes on lacewood..." to which I responded with "yes hi, I would like to book an eye exam" long drawn out pause, "well can I get your name!?" I said "sorry, you didn't respond I thought you were maybe checking availability". I gave my contact info and was booked an appointment for the next day. Before excepting the appointment I asked if they did direct billing, the resptionest said they do for some companies like

The very very worst eye care centre in halifax. It’s completely medical negligence, honestly I want to file a case against them but I don’t have time for all this. I was late for 5 minutes and they cancelled my appointment. When the staff try to give same day another appointment, another staff refused it.I was having severe eye pain and blurred vision. I waited for two weeks to get this appointment. If I would knew , this is the worst eye care centre I would never come here.it’s so pathetic. May be they are racist because I am a foreigner. They should give importance to the patients instead

I went there to get an eye exam and to buy a new frame (because of their promotion), but I didnt expect the wonderful service i got from Ben and Kelly, they were wonderful, patient, and knowledgeable. Kelly even helped me re-adjusted the fit of my current glasses (which I bought from other optometry). I definitely recommend going there. The eye exam was also done properly.

Getting glasses for the first time can be a little scary and intimidating.At this location they really have the most friendly staff. Ben and Katie in particular, made my experience at Eyes on Lacewood seamless. They were friendly, kind, and funny which I loved. They helped me pick out the perfect pair of glasses for my face shape. Definitely check this office out if you need a new eye doctor!

As an incoming university student, I made an appointment at Eyes On Lacewood where no other alternative location could accommodate me before my time of leaving. Needless to say, this was definitely the right choice (and utlimately a saving grace decision) for such an important step in my life! Just had my eye exam after 2 years with Eyes On Lacewood. I was greeted with a big smile and lots of great customer service from Ariel who works the front end of the store. Her welcoming attitude and warm smile made me feel at ease, especially during this global pandemic where rules and health protocols can cause a great deal of anxiety. Ariel was informative and had an excellent command of the products and procedures for Eyes On Lacewood. Once she was done, I had my eye exam with Dr. French, who is great. My wife has been a customer for 15 years. She just spent $500 on new glasses and prescription and wanted the contacts with same prescription. They were supposed to be ordered and arrive before Christmas. They left a message saying we owed $125 as part of the claim that came back. When we arrived the week before Christmas to pay the balance they informed us they did not order the contacts until the balance was paid. Bad experience as well, they have change over in staff always, and would not allow me to get a follow up appointment because i owed them money for eye glasses I wasn't able to afford yet and i had surgery and after telling them my eyes were failing they said i wouldn't be seen back in clinic unless i paid for the glasses first. Seems their interest in their patients eyes come last, no consideration of the persons health.
