A crown, also called a cap, is a casing that surrounds the tooth surface, protecting tooth structure that cannot be restored by other means. After a root canal treatment, a broken tooth, or a deep cavity, a crown is often a necessary step in returning function and appearance to the tooth. Crowns can also be used for cosmetic purposes, as in covering a discoloured or misshapen tooth.
Dentures help a patient who has lost some or all of their teeth cope with the issues that come with teeth loss. With dentures, a patient will be able to speak and eat properly, and they prevent sunken lower facial features associated with the loss of teeth and gum tissue. Dentures help support a natural facial structure, and keep your smile bright.
If a cavity gets out of hand, a root canal operation can be the only way to save the tooth. Our team at Williams Lake Dental uses state-of-the-art practices to ensure your comfort during a root canal operation. When a cavity progresses too far, it can begin to affect the root of a tooth - and eventually, the pulp (the inner nerves and blood vessels) can become infected.
Teeth extractions can be fundamental in restoring your health (and smile) if a greater issue has emerged. When a tooth is unrecoverable by other treatments, the mouth is too crowded, or the tooth is at high risk of infection, we may opt for extraction. Our Family Dental practice is experienced in extractions, and it is our highest priority to make sure that our patients are as comfortable and relaxed as possible during this procedure.

Went for my first visit. It was a great experience from the friendly front desk to attentive hygienist and dentist (Dr. Greg Hein) who did their work with care and explained everything clearly. If you are looking for a personable dental clinic with knowledgeable people and a more relaxed ambience then you'll like them!

Immpecable care and attention to detail... you are definitely not a cat on the ceiling hanging on with your claws. Very kind and gentle and great prices.
