Staff is ok however there is a general feeling of filth in the rooms I stayed in. The odor is so bad I couldn't sleep and was forced to depart at 5 am after 4 hours of sleep. Yes, its cheap but I've paid 129 for rooms at best Western and Sandman hotels that didn't have me wanting to bathe in Holy water after leaving. I didn't use the shower as the bathroom floor was sticky and the base of everything was dirty. Ceiling panels in the bathrooms were hanging down. No options for clean water or other beverages in the empty vending machine. Yellow stained towels. Bedding smells like a hospital palliative

Run down hotel that has had little if any maintenance or updates over the last few decades.
Stayed there New Year's Eve when it was minus 12 outside and wind was blowing through improperly sealed windows. Also three big 2 foot long cracks in the main window . Furniture old and lots of wear marks. Bed linens at least seemed clean and bathroom reasonably clean but shabby with pieces of countertops missing. Only had two bath towels had to ask for face cloths and hand towels. Inside and outside elevators walls looked shabby and damaged and dated. You get what you pay for I suppose. I reached out to

Room needs an overhaul on electrical almost all the plugs were worn out. Had to try almost every plug in the room to get my phone charger to stay plugged in! TV channels were just the basic 20 channels. For some reason the street noise sounded like they were in the room with us, we were on the 4th floor. The lake view room we had was a room with a view of the lake ... On the right side of the window but on the left was a great view of the massive power transformers for the hotel and the next block over was a great view of the hotel 1 block closer. The pluses were the bed was pretty comfortable

Staff was nice. Bring cleaning supplies with so you can clean your room. Had a portable heater in room, couldn't run microwave with heater running or the power went out. Fridge was disgusting, I don't think it was ever defrosted. The dishes in the room were dirty. No dish soap or tea towels. Hot tub closed. No access to hot springs. Would not stay there again

Stayed in the off season, rates were reasonable for the room. I had a King suite which was massive for a hotel room - fireplace, couch, and 2 wing back chairs made it cozy. The room was due for some maintenance and updates, but i would stay there again.

Pictures looked nice online but when we got to our room it was not the same. Tge rooms are very old and run down. The plug-ins don't work to charge your stuff there are stains everywhere, on blankets and the furniture. The bathroom smell moldy and not very clean. We got 2 rooms and one room was freezing the other room was way to hot.

Affordable, convenient, was clean but again, didn't stay much inside the room. The beds were very comfortable unlike the other hotel where we stayed the next night and was wayyy more expensive. Easy check in/out and private parking included. Overall would stay again :) too bad the public pool is closed atm. As other reviews mentioned, not all the plugs work, but I just disconnected where the coffee one was and that one did work perfectly. The reason why I'm giving 4 stars is because it does smell like smoke inside the hotel (hallways) but NOT inside the room thankfully.

When I checked in and went to my room I found the room very cold, I tried to turn up the heat but the thermostat didn't work. There was old food left in the fridge and it looked like it hadn't been defrosted in months, went back to the desk to let them know, they gave me another room which was better but still the housekeeping there is bad, they have signs stating they do everything they can to ensure the safety of the guests, how about go room by room and make a check list of things to fix or clean and do them. How can you not see the dirt on the tiles or around the soap dish? Do you not check

My wife and I were on a spontaneous motorcycle trip. Decided to come up on August long weekend. The staff was very accommodating. Great location, close to the beach, shops, bars, and restaurants. Underground parking was perfect. Room was clean, showers were hot with excellent water pressure. Would suggest to any one of my motorcycle friends to come stay. Great deal for this hotel.

I never want to leave a negative review of a place. I don't mind an old or rundown hotel if it is scrupulously clean. This place is not. The entire building shows a lack of attention; the longer we stayed, the more uncomfortable we became with the grubby feel of the halls, elevator and courtyard. But the room seemed okay for an old room, andpassed the smell test, and nothing else was available, so we stayed. And when I woke up in the morning, I discovered 20+ bug bites on my body. I never saw a bedbug, but I don't know what else it could have been. Horrifying.
This hotel needs to get serious about
