The Colour Field first opened its doors on Yonge Street in 2005 and quickly became one of North Toronto's favourite florists. We moved to our current location in North York in the fall of 2019. The new shop is bigger and brighter and the location is perfect, just east of Leslie off of York Mills and minutes from both the 401 and the DVP.

Our custom flower arrangements and bouquets are made to order using the freshest and most beautiful blooms we can get our hands on. This changes weekly so we ask that you trust us to choose the best for you. Check out our galleries for inspiration and to get a sense of style, colour and size. Keep in mind that your piece will be unique and not an exact copy of the photo shown.

In addition to gorgeous flowers and plants, we also offer a carefully curated selection of gift items. Check out our GIFT ALBUM for seasonal picks that change throughout the year. Scented candles and perfume oils from Maison Louis Marie are available year round. If you're not familiar with this line, the scents range from fresh and floral to earthy and warm and spicy.
The best way to place your order is over the phone. If you do send an order via email, please give ample time, especially if the delivery is time sensitive. When the shop is busy and we're at the work table with our hands full of gorgeousness, the computer takes a back seat. We use the freshest and most interesting product available to us at any given time.
Ordering funeral flowers for a family member or sympathy flowers to a grieving family is tough. We are here to help you organize something beautiful to honour the life of a loved one or send a floral hug to someone who is experiencing loss. There are no right or wrong flowers.

Tiina made the most beautiful and intuitive arrangement for Anne, who then gifted it to me for my birthday. Even though Tiina doesn't know me, she chose all the right flowers -- Tenweeks stalk, Freesia, what looked like Sweet Scabious -- and my favourite garden flower from my childhood, the common phlox. I prefer wild flowers and garden flowers to cultivated ones, and she had many rarer ones in stock that I've never received in a bouquet before. It was very touching, unique and special. Have ordered a few times for my mom and she's always loved them. The flowers are always fresh and the arrangements are beautiful. I've also been able to go in-store pre-covid looking for flowers to decorate cakes and they've been very helpful, recommending what would be safe and how things might go together.

Extraordinary! David and Tina at The Colour Field were absolutely wonderful! I used The Colour Field for my wedding this year and they made it so beautiful. Fairly priced, beautiful arrangements and a great selection of pots and what not. I would suggest bringing in photos ahead of time for events and ordering specific flowers but their on site arrangements for walk in’s are also stunning. The owner is such a wonderful person and very knowledgeable. My go to flower shop in the area for sure.

I'm so happy my caterer recommended this place for my wedding. I wasn't super picky about flowers (I just had some general ideas/colours in mind) so I was happy to have Tiina help guide me through the process and make suggestions. The prices were SO much more reasonable than other places I looked at, and everything turned out so beautiful. I'm really glad I chose this place and I would definitely recommend using The Colour Field for your wedding or next event.

For our wedding florist, we chose The Colour Field and they were incredible to work with. We went in with one idea and ended up going back to them with a completely different direction for the flowers, which they had no problem accommodating. We had a lot of fun going into the shop for the mock setup – it was great to get a real sense of how things would look. They covered every single detail like true professionals and had great suggestions for us when we were unsure of some details. It’s clear that David and Tiina are passionate about what they do and we would not hesitate to recommend

Wow! I'm loving my birthday gift of pink peonies, striped tulips and other springtime flowers designed by David at Colour Field. The arrangement is worthy of a painting! They are our favorite florist for their artistic arrangements -- fortunately my kids knew their number... ;-) Highly recommend them. Hint: tell Colour Field what colours and flowers you love just in case someone gives you a gift.
