Label each box and indicate the following: (a) Which room it should go in (b) Whether it is fragile (c) If it should be loaded last so it will be unloaded first. Pack books tightly on end in small boxes. If musty smelling, sprinkle talcum powder between the pages and wrap the book before packing. Leave stored for a couple of months to eliminate the smell.

We chose to work with Mountain Moving to move our family from Loretto, Ontario, to Moonstone, Ontario. The initial quote was very accurate, and there were no surprises on our bill. Their contract was very detailed and made it easy to know what to expect. The crew showed up when expected and remained polite, professional, and attentive for the duration of the move! Terrible. We hired a mountain movers to move our house 45 minutes down the road. When they were unable to deliver our items (due to their what they say was poor weather), they tossed them into one of their (very) dirty, unheated, storage facilities (and charged us for it). In order to get our stuff back, they were going to charge us for another… full move - with an 8 hour minimum. I tried to negotiate a lesser minimum, knowing it would be fewer hours, but they refused. Oh - and they actually wouldn't even try to deliver the items until they had a gap in their schedule. The one date they

Do not use Mountain moving. Although the movers were terrific -- hard working, efficient, polite and conscientious, the management of this company is callous and dishonest.
After booking well in advance and agreeing to a move date and time Mountain called to ask if we would move our time from 8 am to noon -- we graciously agreed trusting they would arrive at noon as they said they would. The movers did not arrive at noon but arrived four hours late. We later learned that management knowingly booked an eight hour job in the 4-hour time slot we were asked to change; their crew had to finish this

This is the first review I have ever been motivated to post. We had the most amazing move experience. From scheduling to the move itself everyone was professional and more helpful than I ever could have imagined. The crew, Jason, Kyle and Jack were polite, patient and took incredible care to ensure that the contents we moved and the homes we moved in to and out of were not damaged. If you are moving to or from the areas they service, I highly recommend them.

August 21 2015 I booked my movers to come. They arrived politely, on time and full of energy. Wow did they work fast and efficiently. Even though my day was upside down they continued to do their part in my move including having another truck come join the move. We ran out of space in the one smaller truck so just a call away and another truck… and other workmen arrived to complete the emptying of my home. These 5 movers were amazing and a delight to have around on such a hectic day for me. I truly want to thank them for the long day they had and for just being so great. Going that extra
