Dr Fainstat is the founder of The Fourth & Alma Naturopathic Medical Centre. She takes a very integrative approach seeking what is behind her patients' concerns and selecting treatment to give both the quickest relief and most lasting results. Treatments may include Neural ReSet Therapy or Prolotherapy for pain or athletic performance, hormonal and neurotransmitter balancing, digestion and immune regulation.
Dr Paula is the founder and owner of The Fourth & Alma Naturopathic Medical Centre. She holds doctorates from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and has been practicing for over 25 years. She is certified in Advanced Injection Therapies eg Prolotherapy, IV and Chelation, Ozone Therapy and Acupuncture and has prescribing rights.
Our doctors will review the options for your treatment, from traditional medical care to the best of new progressive complementary treatments. Traditional naturopathic options include nutrition, kinesiology and hormone balancing. Contemporary options and procedures care for modern stress and toxic levels plus advances in regenerative medicine.
New Patient appointments are usually mid-afternoon or mid-morning and generally available in 2-4 weeks. If you are in pain, your situation is urgent or you are out of town, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. If you have not been referred to a specific practitioner and would like help in selecting the best Doctor for your needs, please feel free to discuss this with our staff.
For your first visit please allow extra time. Your time with the Doctor will be approximately 1 hour. You will also need time for follow-up at the front desk after your appointment. The new patient form is very detailed. Otherwise allow 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete the form.
