API recommends this be performed 1-2 months before the warranty expires. Prior to purchasing a condo, I hired Alberta Property Inspection Ltd. to inspect the unit. Chris Bottriell was the Inspector who took me through the condo. The first thing I noticed was that he was early for our appointment, well groomed, and had quite a bit of equipment with him for this inspection.

We could not have chosen a better company to do our inspection with. Chris went through everything thoroughly. Our first home inspection with Chris was done with expert, professional and easy to understand explanations. He was thorough and precise about what needed fixing and what didn’t. With that house he did find a huge problem in the attic and we avoided problems down the road by passing on that purchase. They were great worth it every single penny, we had the need to use home inspection twice the first time because we thought we "found the right place to live" but many issues discovered we are thankful for having choose this company and Chris B. I had a great experience using Alberta Property Inspection for the inspection on a home purchase. Chris was very thorough and took the time to take photos and explain various issues to me. He also gave me advice on maintenance requirements for various items in the house. He found a major issue that ultimately led to me not buying the house and it saved me lots of money and headache. I will definitely be calling API again when I find a new house to purchase!
