After great success in our first nine years, Shift Dance Academy is now entering it's TENTH year in our bright and beautiful facility! With a faculty of passionate, dedicated, and accomplished instructors, we are proud to offer the North Shore a place where young dancers will be encouraged, challenged, inspired in every class!
Our mission is to encourage, challenge, and inspire our students to be the best dancers they can be. We believe in fostering a positive learning environment that instils confidence, creates friendships, and brings a sense of community beyond the dance studio. Services
At Shift Dance Academy, we offer students of all ages and levels, the opportunity to experiment with different styles of dance. We recognize that while some students find a love for all dance forms, others will dedicate their time to one discipline. We are happy to offer each student the opportunity to find their passion.

I’ve been dancing at shift since the very beginning and i’ve grown so much, not only as a dancer but also as a person. I’ve been able to meet the most amazing group of friends and I consider shift my second home. The teachers at Shift care so much about their students and are consistently working hard to make sure each dancer succeeds at their fullest potential.

It's a well known dance academy with the right mix of formal and casual interactions to match most children. I dont attend myself but I spoke with several people who do. There is parallel parking out storefront, vending machine, and wifi at this location. 4 stars, take the kids here for a break and attend a dance off every so often.

Such an amazing dance studio! I have learned so much and the teachers/staff are amazing! definitely a 10/10. My classmates are so supportive and the teachers really take the time to get to know you and what you want to work and and how you can further improve as an individual. I would definitely recommend.

Shift is an amazing, strong, and confident dance community. All the teachers that work at Shift are all expirienced and they all give their full, undivided attention to each and every one of the kids. As well, the teachers have great learning methods and make sure all the kids are learning, as well as having fun!

I have a very happy dancer thanks to the excellent instruction, fantastic choreography , fun and welcoming environment , care and commitment my Daughter received in her first year at Shift.
As a parent, I have been very impressed by the very efficient, prompt, and clear communication from the school and the very professional way the school is run.
