Consider making your Agreement of Purchase and Sale to buy your property conditional on getting a Home Inspection. Consider making your Agreement of Purchase and Sale to buy your property conditional on getting Mortgage Financing. Make sure your mortgage company gives you written confirmation that you are approved for your mortgage financing before waiving your financing clause in the Agreement of Purchase and Sale.
You will need to contact the Utility companies to let them know the date you are selling the property so that they can do a final reading for the property. Also you will need to tell them your new address so that they can send the final utility accounts to you. Call to cancel the house insurance on the property you are selling.
Please provide your Mortgage Company or Mortgage Broker with all our contact information so that they can get the mortgage instructions to our office as soon as reasonably possible. Please provide particulars of your existing mortgage that will be paid out upon registration of your new mortgage to our office: Name, Address, Mortgage Number, Approximate Balance.

Peter Dudzic handled the sale of our home and the buyer's side had many problems. He handled the situation professionally, smartly ensuring things would close and in our benefit. We were very happy he was our lawyer. He knows real estate law very well and we were very happy with the work he and his staff did for us. We will be using him again for sure in the future.
