The attic is one of the largest sources of potential heat loss in a home and often one of the most neglected areas when it comes to insulation. Our attic service involves blowing fiberglass or cellulose onto the attic floor at the required R-Value. A very effective attic insulation is to spray foam a couple of inches and then add blown insulation on top to bring it up to required building code R-Value.
An uninsulated crawlspace is a major source of energy loss and contributing factor to thermal inefficiency. We install rigid to the perimeter concrete walls, however we recommend doing spray foam for a superior job, for the very little extra cost involved. The crawlspace ceiling can also be insulated using fiberglass batts or spray foam for a more comfortable and warmer floors above.
