Monoglass Spray-On Insulation was developed in 1979 when Mr. Douglas Eyrl recognized a need for a spray-applied fiberglass insulation that could provide higher R-Values with easier application than the cellulose-based spray insulations in use at the time. The result was a versatile, safe and effective thermal and acoustic product that would better meet the needs of architects and installing contractors alike.

Our products are fiberglass based, non-combustible, and contain 58% recycled glass content. Our reliability and competitive pricing has made Monoglass Spray-On Insulation the choice for architects, engineers, specification writers, and building owners since 1979. Monoglass products are used in many countries worldwide.
Services
Monoglass combines soft glass fibers and polymer adhesive to create a non-combustible, non-toxic, insulation that can be quickly spray applied to virtually any surface or configuration. With an R-value of 4.00/inch, installations of R-20 overhead, or R-28 on vertical surfaces can be applied quickly and easily in one pass without costly, slow layering or mechanical support.
Sonoglass is a fiberglass based, spray applied acoustical treatment designed to provide superior acoustical values with a finished appearance. Sonoglass will adhere to almost any surface configuration. This makes it ideal for applications to curved and irregular shaped ceilings such as those found in churches, gymnasiums and theaters.
Insulseal is intended for use as a protective coating over Monoglass Spray-On Insulation or Sonoglass Acoustic Treatment in residential and commercial construction. Insulseal helps prevent damage to sprayed insulation from personnel, machinery, birds and other sources. Insulseal provides a tough, flexible coating which encapsulates surface fibers and resists abrasion.
Tints are available in two shades, grey and charcoal, allowing tinting of our standard white Monoglass and Sonoglass insulations to achieve a colored finish without spray painting. Tinted finishes are an excellent choice for any application that requires controlled lighting and acoustics. Please contact Monoglass Inc. for color samples.
Monoglass was chosen to insulate the underside of the seating areas at U.S. Bank Stadium, the Vikings Multipurpose Stadium. The project called for insulation to the underside of concrete high off the ground. Monoglass effectively solved the problem. Home to the Daytona 500, the Daytona International Speedway underwent a $400 million dollar renovation which was completed in early 2016.
