Kiya Counselling and Consulting Services is dedicated to providing innovative, interactive and relevant workshops on Life Skills, Job and Career Search issues to First Nations communities. Owner, Karin Schafflik is a trained workshop facilitator and a registered counsellor. She and her team travel throughout BC and beyond, to deliver workshops on a range of topics, specifically designed for each community.

Karin Schafflik, owner of Kiya Counselling and Consulting Services, has a background in clinical counselling, facilitating and training, life skills coaching, career planning and community program development. She and her team specialize in delivering workshops on a wide variety of topics ranging from interpersonal communication skills, time and stress management, to job interview skills.
Kiya Counselling and Consulting Services offers a variety of workshops in the areas of life skills and career/job search strategies*. Each workshop is tailored to the needs of the community we work in, with regard to workshop length and depth of material covered. We take great pride in encouraging individual participation, and keep with the pace of the group rather than setting the pace ourselves.
Kiya Counselling and Consulting Services has been working closely with First Nations people for many years, often in remote locations. These interesting and rewarding experiences are a favourite component of our work. We have many fond memories of individuals, communities and adventures we've had along the way!
